Chapter 1618 The Wish Came True
It didn't matter how powerful Isabel was. She would never be able to defeat Rocky and Eunice while they were working together. Not long after, she was captured and Rocky sealed all her acupuncture points. When the spiritual race's soldiers saw that their commander had been captured, they fled in different directions, not knowing where to go next. All they wanted was to escape, but it wasn't easy for them to run away.
Six hours later, almost every single one of the twenty thousand spiritual race soldiers had been annihilated.
Tucker was glowing with happiness. Since gaining control over the Heavenly Rain Valley, he had successfully defeated the spiritual race's army and caught its commander alive. His services would be held to the highest regard.
Meanwhile, in Tucker's tent, Rocky, Eunice, as well as Isabel were standing and waiting for further instructions.
"Commander Wang, what are you going to do with her?" Rocky asked Tucker, cupping his hands in front of him.
"According to the rules for prisoners of war, I will interrogate her first. After obtaining information about the spiritual race, I will report it to the commander in chief, and he will make the decision," Tucker replied. "I see." Rocky glanced at Isabel who was glaring him.
"Commander Wang, I'm willing to interrogate her," Deputy Commander Lin said. He knew that if he were to get important information out of Isabel about the spiritual race, all the credit would go to him. When he heard that, a look of hesitation coated Tucker's face. Isabel had been captured by Rocky. Logically speaking, he should be the one to interrogate her.
"Commander Wang, may I interrogate her?" Rocky asked after a moment of silence.
"She was captured by Basil. That means the interrogation is his responsibility. Deputy Commander Lin, you can assist Basil in his questioning." Unable to refuse Rocky's request, Commander Wang immediately made the arrangement.
"Yes, sir," Deputy Commander Lin replied. He cupped his hands and bowed slightly, but his face still darkened.
Then, Rocky left Tucker's tent with Isabel. They were followed by Deputy Commander Lin.
"Deputy Commander Lin, please arrange a tent for the interrogation. I'll bring her when you're ready," Rocky said. "Okay." Deputy Commander Lin nodded and left.
The moment he was gone, Rocky wrapped his arms around Isabel's waist and they vanished.
When Isabel came to her senses, she found herself in a strange, new location.
"I'm sorry." As Rocky spoke, he started unlocking her acupuncture points.
"I'll kill you!" When she realized she could move freely again, Isabel immediately spun around and faced Rocky.
Rocky dodged her attack like it was nothing.
"If you kill me now, you will be trapped in here forever," Rocky said, smiling calmly.
"Where am I?" Isabel subconsciously stopped and looked around. Wherever she was, the environment was like nothing she had ever seen before.
"It doesn't matter. All you need to know is that I don't want to hurt you," Rocky said sincerely.
"Yeah, right. Why should I believe you?" He had never expected her to immediately follow his order too. After all, she didn't know him.
"You will believe me soon. You just have to listen to me," Rocky replied.
"Go ahead." Isabel continued to glare at Rocky with suspicious eyes. However, because Rocky had taken the initiative to unlock her acupuncture points, she believed that he wasn't hostile for the time being. "Is the name of your current commander in chief Alyssa Mu?" Rocky asked.
"It seems that the human race is well-informed." Isabel snorted.
"Do you know where she comes from?" Rocky asked, looking to the side.
"Why should I tell you? Yeah, yeah. You want to get information out of me," she said, becoming more vigilant.
"If you want to leave this place, you'd better cooperate. Besides, I just want to confirm one thing," Rocky said frankly.
"I don't know much about Commander in Chief Mu, and I don't know where she came from or why she chose to come here. I only know that she is the commander in chief that our patriarch appointed and that she is deeply liked and appreciated by our patriarch," Isabel said after some hesitation.
"Is that all?" Rocky frowned slightly.
"That's all. Isn't that enough?" Her beautiful eyes widened.
"Well, I guess you don't know that much. Whatever. It doesn't matter. I have a request for you now. If you agree, I will create an opening for you to escape from the Heavenly Rain Valley," Rocky continued. "Are you up to something?" Isabel asked, looking questioningly at Rocky.
"Do you dare to trust me?" Rocky asked with a smile.
Isabel hesitated. She knew that she had no choice but to agree. Otherwise, she would never get out of here. "Well, what's your request?"
"I brought a secret letter with me. My hope is that you can personally give it to your commander in chief and that you will promise not to read it." As Rocky spoke, he took out the letter he had already prepared. Before coming here, he had already planned to use Isabel to contact Alyssa. That was why he had captured her alive.
"What the hell are you trying to do?" Isabel looked at Rocky in confusion.
"This has nothing to do with you. Besides, I promise that when your commander in chief sees this secret letter, she will reward you handsomely," Rocky replied.
"I don't know. If there is something wrong with this letter, the commander in chief will be in danger." Isabel still wore a look of caution on her face.
"Do you think your commander in chief is so weak that she wouldn't dare read a letter? And remember, this is your only chance. If you don't agree, I can't guarantee what kind of treatment you will receive from my fellow soldiers," Rocky reminded her.
"You..." Isabel trailed off, silenced by the threat Rocky issued.
"So will you do it?" Rocky asked in a low voice.
"Okay. I promise that I will give the letter to Commander in Chief Mu, but what if I peek at it?" Isabel felt curious when she saw how sketchy Rocky was acting.
"I don't know. But I think you will keep your promise." Rocky shrugged.
Rocky's words rendered her speechless. After all, from her point of view, Rocky had no reason to trust her.
"Later, I will bring you to the interrogation tent. Then I'll pretend to leave and let the deputy commander question you. I hope you will be able to seize that opportunity to get out of here. If you can't escape, I'm afraid I will have to kill you," Rocky explained.
"Don't worry. I won't let you kill me." Isabel snorted, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Ha-ha! Rocky laughed and then he turned around, leaving the Magic Spiritual Space with Isabel and heading for the tent.
By now, Deputy Commander Lin had prepared tables full of instruments that were intended to torture Isabel.☐☐
