Draco said calmly, "Well, I've decided to hire Tasha. Dalores, you don't need to worry about those things."

Since Draco had the final word, Dalores said nothing more. She forced a smile and shrugged seemingly nonchalantly. "Okay, it's up to you."

Then she lowered her head and focused on tidying up the papers on the table.

She refused to look up and didn't talk to anyone. Tasha looked at Janet excitedly, who gave her a thumbs up. She walked up to Draco to express her gratitude. "Thank you for choosing me, Mr. Wesley. I promise to work hard in the future and won't let you down. As for my due date and my inevitable maternity leave... I promise I will try my best not to delay your work during this period." Draco nodded calmly. Truth be told, he had met Tasha once before.

A few years ago, he had given a speech at Tasha's and Janet's school and had the chance to see some students' designs. Even back then he felt that Tasha's works were very eye-catching.

He had expected that Tasha would definitely dive headfirst into the design industry, but unfortunately, Tasha got married right after graduation and gave up her career for the sake of her family. Now that she was trying to get back to the design world, Draco thought she was finally making the right choice. He only hoped that Tasha could persist in the future. After all, she needed to start from scratch

now.

"Janet, give Tasha a tour of the studio first," Draco said to Janet.

Janet nodded. At first, she had thought that Draco would believe in Dalores's lie. Fortunately, he was a reasonable person and gave the job to the person who truly deserved it.

"This is where our workstations are. The tea room is on the left. If you ever get hungry, you can always get some snacks from there." Janet was in a good mood, she led Tasha around the studio in high spirits. After being given a tour of the place, Tasha couldn't wait to get started. One wall of the design department was covered in the works of W Marks Studio over the years. It was very inspiring to see them. From a distance, Dalores watched as Janet and Tasha laughed happily. This made her seethe with rage.

But since it was Draco's decision to keep Tasha, she had no choice but to accept the reality.

After giving her a tour, Janet took Tasha to meet Elizabeth.

Elizabeth was busy with a design draft when she felt somebody patting her on the shoulder. When she saw that it was just Janet, she put down her pencil and stood up. "Let me introduce Tasha, our newest designer!"

Elizabeth's gaze was immediately drawn to Tasha's rounded belly. She marveled at her. "You're going to be a mother. I can't believe you still want to work! That's awesome!"

She admired Tasha from the bottom of her heart.

Tasha looked down embarrassedly and said apologetically, "Please be patient with me if I cause you any trouble."

"Oh, don't worry about that. We're a team. If you have any questions, just ask me," Elizabeth replied kindly, completely unfazed by Tasha's pregnancy. "Besides, I believe in Janet." Elizabeth reached out her hand to Tasha and smiled warmly. "Welcome to W Marks!"

Relieved, Tasha immediately shook hands with Elizabeth with a smile.

She decided to tell Elizabeth the truth. "In fact, I owe Janet a lot. If she hadn't stood up for me, things wouldn't have gone as smoothly... I was about to back off at the first sign of trouble." Elizabeth tilted her head to the side curiously. "What do you mean? Did anyone give you a hard time?"

Then, it dawned on her. Raising her eyebrows at Janet, she continued, "Let me guess. It was Dalores, wasn't it?"

Janet's curiosity was instantly piqued. "Did she do something like this before?"
