The Mystical White Wolf -
TWELVE-MONSTERS WITHIN
Unknown POV
"DOLUS!!! Get in here now," I ordered my second in command.
He was a big, terrifying man. I think he was part bear, but I didn't care; his loyalty to my cause was what you wouldn't replace in most vampires these days; they just kept to themselves and served no one.
As soon as he entered my office with his expressionless face.
"Where are we with the recruits? Do we have word on my white wolf bride-to-be?" I asked, growing impatient with the lack of promise of replaceing my white wolf.
"Master, the recruits are almost ready; most are rogue vampires. As for your bride-to-be, no word has been reported about a white wolf yet," Dolus said, making me growl.
I slammed my fist on my desk, hearing a crack as it splintered.
"I've waited centuries for another white wolf to be created by the goddess Selene, and you simple idiots haven't heard a thing from your scouts in each pack?" I yelled.
He just stood there unfazed by my anger and outburst; that's why he's my second.
"You useless vampires are wasting valuable time," I grunted.
I picked up my glass of blood and threw it across the room as the glass shattered into a million pieces.
"Find my bride, Dolus, or I'll have your head on a stake," I growled and watched as he left my office and closed the door.
I paced my office until an idea popped into my head as I sat in my chair, opened my drawer, took out a burner phone, and dialed a number; the line ranged a few times before the voice I wanted to hear picked up.
"Why the fuck are you calling me?" the deep gruff voice growled.
"Listen, pup; I don't tolerate disrespect from a useless Alpha like yourself. I will rip out your heart and feed it to my dogs," I snarled.
"I'm calling because I have a proposition for you," I said, hoping this foolish idiot would be helpful.
"I'm listening," he said, making me rub my temples.
This useless Alpha pissed me off, but he had some of the resources I could use for the right price, that is.
"I'm looking for a white wolf female. One hasn't been created in many centuries, but my gut tells me one has been born to a wolf pack. I need you to replace out which one, and I'll reward you handsomely," I said, hoping I didn't spill too much information. Wolves like him were greedy bastards.
The line was silent for a moment. I was hoping the weakling didn't hang up the phone.
"What do I get in return for my services?" he asked as I smiled wickedly.
"I hear you have been trying to take over the Blue Eclipse pack as your own, have you not?" I heard him growl through the phone.
"How do you know about that?!" he snarled as I cackled.
"That's not important; what is important is my offer, which still needs an answer," I said, tapping my fingers on my nearly broken desk.
"Fine, you have a deal only because the Blue Eclipse pack should've been mine. Give me a few days to work out the details," The mutt said as I rolled my eyes.
"If you fail me, I'll make sure I dismember you piece by piece," I threatened.
I hung up the phone before he could respond. I sat back in my chair and sighed. I have lived for over a millennium. During the war, when the werewolves were losing, the goddess Selene took matters into her own hands and created the first white wolf clan.
I was fascinated by their strength and power, and I wanted to create hybrid offspring to rule this world and dominate the other supernatural. My plan failed when that wretched female wolf didn't inherit her Father's white wolf gene, so I killed her. I have been waiting for the perfect time for Selene to make me a new bride.
Grayson POV
After I escaped the hospital and left the Crescent Moon pack, the only home I've ever known, I lived in the forest between both packs, avoiding the trackers that Alpha Brady and my Father had sent after me.
"We wouldn't be in the mess had you kept your cock in your pants," Gideon growled.
I was tired of his constant whining and blaming me for the fuck-up he continuously reminds me about. But that would soon change once I had my mate Staci back in my arms.
No one would stop me from getting Staci back; she's my mate, and I will have her. I finally found my way outside the borders of the Blue Eclipse pack, and I realized how huge this pack was; I had my work cut out for me.
I couldn't see inside that massive fucking castle to replace my mate, Staci. I quickly and quietly walked around the border, hoping to avoid the patrol guards.
"Goddess, damn it!" I whispered.
Guards were everywhere, so I had to be quiet to avoid detection.
"Fuck," I whisper, shout, and duck behind some bushes as two warrior wolves walk by.
I quietly move about the brushes and spot a massive oak tree that's the perfect hiding spot to camouflage myself with.
"Perfect," I say and begin climbing the tree.
I nestled on a tree branch where I could look inside the castle and saw my mate Staci sitting on that fucking Alpha's lap and smiling at him.
I looked on and was getting pissed off more by the way he had his hands on her body and kissing her lips, I felt Gideon push forward and growl, and I had to tell the mutt to be quiet before he got us caught by the patrol guards.
"She's mine!" Gideon growled.
"I know, stupid mutt, but we must play this smart. Otherwise, we will lose her and never get her back," I told my wolf.
"We wouldn't be in this mess if it weren't for you. I told you don't reject her, you fool," Gideon snarled as I rolled my eyes.
Gideon retreated and put up a mental block. I sighed; he was right. I screwed up our future with Staci, but I was willing to do whatever it took to get her back.
I looked into the castle again as Staci kissed the Alpha, and the rage boiled inside me again. That should be me and not him; hopefully, I could devise a plan to sneak into the castle and take my mate back.
I just needed to replace a way to get past the patrol and get back out with Staci without being caught. I saw Staci and the Alpha preparing to exit the office as more wolves entered the pack territory. The Alpha looked out the window, and I swear he could sense someone was watching him by the look on his face. I stayed hidden until he left the office. I hope my plan works for my sake.
Alpha Brady POV
"Damn it!" I slammed my fist on my desk.
Jarrod's son gave our trackers the slip every time we sent them out to search for him.
Beta Jarrod had fully recovered after Grayson attacked him in the hospital, and we were a few months away from announcing Seth as the new Alpha of the Crescent Moon pack. I had asked Seth who would be appointed as his new Beta since Grayson ran away from the pack.
Seth considered Cole, Beta Jarrod's younger son. He was only 17, but Jarrod had been training him to be a Beta since before he could walk, and that was fine with Seth. Still, I had wanted to get Grayson back here and set everything straight before the Alpha ceremony, but things were looking slim for us capturing him.
I heard a slight knock on my office door, and I knew it was Seth by the scent on the other side. I called out for him to come in.
"Any news on tracking Grayson, Dad?" Seth asked as he walked inside my office, which would soon be his.
Seth took a seat before my desk and folded his arms.
"The trackers lost his scent again somewhere close to the Blue Eclipse pack," I told my son as his wolf flashed in his eyes.
"Fuck!" Seth growled.
"Well, his Father trained him well, Dad."
"But don't you think you should call Alpha Antonio and warn him about Grayson possibly being so close to his pack?" Seth asked as he gripped in his hair.
"I was just about to do that, son before you came in. Watch your mouth! You're worse than your sister with that language," I growled.
I looked over as Seth let out a rambunctious laugh.
"Sorry, Dad. Habit," Seth shrugged.
I mentally rolled my eyes, shook my head, and picked up the phone. I dialed the number to the Blue Eclipse pack and waited as the line rang a few times, and someone picked up the phone.
"Blue Eclipse pack, how may I help you?" a soft, delicate voice answered the call.
"Yes, this is Alpha Brady from the Crescent Moon pack. I need to speak to Alpha Antonio about an urgent matter," I told the person on the line.
"Yes, Alpha, hold, please," the individual said, holding the call briefly.
With my Alpha hearing, I could hear the shuffle of feet and movement in the background. There was also a lot of chatter, and I wondered if it was dinner time over at the Blue Eclipse pack.
"This is Alpha Antonio," Antonio's deep accented voice spoke into the phone.
"Alpha Antonio, Brady here; listen, son, I'm sending word about Grayson."
"We have been sending trackers out to track him and bring him back to Crescent Moon, but we haven't been able to catch him."
"My trackers indicate they lost his scent close to your borders," I tell my daughter's mate.
The line was silent momentarily right before I heard loud growling, indicating his wolf was on the surface.
"I'll replace that little bastard and rip his throat out. What location was he lost in?!" Antonio growled through the phone.
I hope Staci was near to help calm him down. Even I felt his rage through the phone.
"West side location, Alpha Antonio," I said.
The line went silent afterward. I can only hope Alpha Antonio takes care of the problem, but we will do what we can to help.
"He sounded pissed off, Dad," Seth said, looking me in the eyes.
"Oh, trust me, son, he is," I tell Seth and send Jarrod a quick link to come to my office.
I hope we can solve this issue before Seth's Alpha ceremony; there's no telling what Grayson has planned if he tries to take Staci away from her mate.
