Braden

Braden cleared the proper channels so that he and Talon could meet with the Spearhead's oracle, Magdalena. Braden wasn't sure if this was the right thing to do but he was desperate for his mate's recovery. He had no other viable recourse. He was guilt-ridden at all the misfortune he had brought upon her doorstep from the moment she set foot on the Bloodstone grounds.

As soon as they crossed into the Spearhead grounds, they were escorted away from the Spearhead mansion and onto a small cottage towards the end of the property.

A small, thin elder woman with silver hair immediately greeted them at the door. Braden and Talon bowed their heads to Moon Goddess's vessel as a sign of respect. She asked them to have a seat; all three bodies sat in unison.

Magdalena reached for Braden's hand. "I communed with Moon Goddess last night. She wants you to be assured that these challenges your mate has encountered have had to happen as so. Challenges a wolf encounters are not necessarily always about one, but about uncovering another's offense. Only your mate could have given absolution." She looked between the males. "As for you two, you have allowed a broken bond to affect your brotherhood. Moon Goddess would like you to speak openly and forgive one another." She looked at Talon, "It goes both ways."

Braden saw Talon stiffen and wondered what that was about.

Magdalena then stood, grabbing a bag from from the end-table nearest her. "Take me to your mate."
