The President’s Mistake A Tale of Love and Regret by Carly Glover -
Chapter 301 Where Was She?
If Freya's three-year prison sentence was fabricated, wouldn't it be extremely unjust? She spent three years in prison for nothing. She was left with nothing after serving three years. Anyone who comes across this situation could go insane.
Yes, it's possible that she went insane a long time ago.
Crazy enough to do this to Abigail instead of giving Nathaniel the video and asking for his help?
Nathaniel entered the vehicle. At first, Koen had planned to take him for a drive, but Nathaniel jumped into the cab and left the parking lot.
A video utterly wrecked the dinner gathering, and Nathaniel felt as if he had been smacked twice.
As soon as Abigail became known as the adopted sister over there, she used the facts to inform Nathaniel that the newly acknowledged sister was a nasty person.
Nearing the end of the year, the streets were bustling with people buying merchandise, and the central business sector was so crowded that it was impassable.
Nathaniel's car nearly went into traffic lights and struck multiple individuals who were carrying bags. He stepped on the brakes hard and brought his car to a sudden stop. Because he was not wearing a seat belt, he almost hurt himself.
At last, the intense vibration roused him. After struggling to breathe, he lay in the driver's seat and dialed Freya.
No one answered the phone over there, and Freya seemed to have left it somewhere and not brought it with her.
"Is Freya working overtime for the company?" Nathaniel inquired in a low voice.
"Well, no, Ms. Freya left work early today to visit her friends, right? I'm not sure either."
Nathaniel hung up irritably.
Nathaniel urgently wanted to see Freya-not to argue, but to see her, keep her by his side, and simply stare at her so he could breathe.
He dialed Freya's phone number repeatedly, but it never worked, and no one answered.
He called Xavier, who was a little agitated when he picked it up.
"Where have you been, Nathaniel?"
"Everyone is searching everywhere for you."
"Nathaniel, relax; it's not a huge deal. Someone may be trying to discredit Ms. Abigail by fabricating the video."
"Go and use your device now; help me track a phone number and replace the current location of this phone," Nathaniel said in a hoarse voice.
Xavier was silent for a long time. He had always thought Nathaniel saw them as all-powerful gods. It seemed as though he would replace out the current address of this number when he provided it to him. This was absurd.
"All right, Nathaniel, all right, but you gotta stay connected to that phone over there."
"She did not respond." Nathaniel was going to cry inside when he uttered these three simple words, but he didn't know why.
Yes, she didn't respond since she detested him deeply.
"Nathaniel, in that situation, there is no way."
Nathaniel said in a raspy voice, "She hates me."
Xavier was at a loss for words. At this point, he was afraid to speak. He always had the impression that Nathaniel would start crying at him if he continued.
"Nathaniel, we also have an independent satellite tracking device," Xavier remarked warily. "It's encrypted right now. We are going to have problems if it is tracked by other people. It contains a lot of hidden secrets."
"You can assist me in replaceing the location of the mobile phone, and I'll try to call its number."
Although Xavier thought Nathaniel was a little bit stubborn, he nevertheless nodded.
"Please give me fifteen minutes to return to the apartment, Nathaniel."
After parking his vehicle on the side of the road, Nathaniel observed the camera that captured the infraction, taking images. He didn't care about anything anymore.
