The President’s Mistake A Tale of Love and Regret by Carly Glover -
Chapter 304 We Should Leave Now
However, that man had terrible intentions and treated people brutally and mercilessly.
"My game with him is not over yet; I can't leave," was Freya's response.
Never before has Sawyer convinced someone with such patience: "I don't want to play anymore. The elites remain, while all the minions have perished. We might not be able to leave this place at all."
"I recently supplied Nathaniel with some false information. I've also found a route out of Saeville. He probably won't be able to stop us from going. Both your mother and mine will go with me. Together, the four of us will travel to Stanna."
Freya couldn't help but be stunned when she heard the words "Stanna."
It was hilarious when Nathaniel once wanted to send her to Stanna.
She wanted to get away from them and live a safe life, but they would not let her go, dragging her back into Saeville.
Alexander lied to her, Sawyer asked her to linger by Nathaniel's side, and Nathaniel punished her harshly.
They've now indicated they didn't want to play, but Freya was only getting started.
She needed to determine Dad's actual cause of death, as the cause of his passing was unclear.
The dead were dead, but the living could not continue to exist in a dreamlike condition.
After Freya rebuffed Sawyer once more, he abruptly gripped her chin and pushed her entire body beneath him.
His physique was made of extremely firm muscles from his year-round boxing exercise, so this time when he touched her, it stung a little.
Freya raised her gaze to Sawyer. This man had self-control and was always calm. Even Freya had to acknowledge that he was the perfect avenger.
"Do you still replace it difficult to let him go?" Unexpectedly feeling a little guilty, Sawyer regretted asking this question since he was afraid she would answer that she still loved him.
Freya inhaled and remained silent. Sawyer pressed his chin on hers. She muttered, "I don't love him anymore; I had four years of affection for him. I'm worn out. I can no longer love him."
Sawyer felt dissatisfied with Freya's response. Suddenly, he leaned down and kissed her lips.
Despite Freya's fierce resistance, Sawyer gave her no chance; instead, he kissed her passionately.
After walking through the horrors of Lloyd by himself for a long time, he at last encountered a woman whose soul was a perfect fit. He was no longer content with his soul.
He desired her.
With a furious shove, Freya struck him across the face.
Not only were the two of them bewildered, but the hackers outside, who had been invited by Sawyer at great expense, were also taken aback by the sound of a smack coming from the barrier. They exchanged meaningful glances and giggled.
Freya rose and stared at Sawyer, whose face was confused in front of her. "I believe Mr. Sawyer's actions right now should not exist between collaborators!"
With a turn, she headed for the deck. Sawyer bent his head down. Lifting his hand, he massaged his face. The reflection from the computer screen cast an unsure look on his face.
He let out a deep breath, realizing that the woman was deceiving herself and that she truly loved Nathaniel.
In that scenario, he would demolish all she had loved and cared for!
With a little smile, Sawyer bowed his head and ignited a cigarette. His lovely, slightly sickly, demonic face vanished the instant the fire was put out.
Peering through the glass box on the other end, he took in the view. On Nathaniel's side, there was a skilled hacker named Xavier. All he could do was blow a lot of cash, inviting the best hackers to this ship. Even though Xavier was an extremely skilled hacker, his chances of succeeding on his own were not particularly high.
