The President’s Mistake A Tale of Love and Regret -
Chapter 231
Chapter 231 Reprieve
"I'll host you both next time!"
Nathaniel held back his frustration as he raised his glass while Freya nodded at Mandy before chugging the entire glass of tea down along with her medicine. Things were already set in stone as soon as she swallowed the medicine. The medicine was quite harmful to a person's health. especially to people who were already weak like Freya. However, she was not bothered by it.
What concerned her the most was how Nathaniel was able to push her to the depths of hell by using her love for him, before returning to her, and telling her how much he loved her and how he wanted her to have his child. She thought to herself, What right does he have to want that?
Meanwhile, Nathaniel was finally done with signing the agreement and was unwilling to continue socializing with Mandy. Since Mandy knew how to read the room, she dared not say anything else as she left the building with her men.
Nathaniel knew that Freya was holding onto the design draft. It was the most important thing to her, and was unable to enjoy herself on his yacht. So, he sent Freya back to the Ocean Villa where she would live from then on. He could seriously feel how nervous it made her feel if she was anywhere near her family home.
However, last night was pretty laid back. So much so that he was tempted to express how grateful he felt to the universe for this. Apparently, he had prayed to have his woman return to his side. He could not believe that Freya took the initiative to be intimate with him, and this made him extremely happy.
Nathaniel was waiting for Freya in his car. After Freya kept the design drafts, she tied her hair into a bun, and changed into a pair of jeans, before walking out with a cap on her head. She wondered what was wrong with Nathaniel to even suggest that they had fun at sea when it was already fall by then.
So, Nathaniel drove Freya to the port and as they looked ahead, they could see a fleet of boats docked at the port. Every single one of them belonged to Nathaniel. Maintaining those yachts would cost a few million dollars in a year, and Freya never expected that he enjoyed this hobby.
So, Nathaniel changed into a more casual outfit and before he helped Freya get onto his yacht, he draped a beige windbreaker over her shoulder. This stunned her for a second as she found it immature for him to buy matching couple windbreakers.
Freya was too exhausted from last night, so she overslept slightly that morning. She had no idea. when Nathaniel woke up and bought so much stuff. She could not help but feel that he was wasting too much money.
Nathaniel did not bring Koen and the others with him as he steered the yacht away from the docks himself as Freya sat beside him, enjoying the vast ocean view. She glanced at Nathaniel and could not help but notice how handsome his side profile looked. His gaze was sharp, and hist movements were fluid. He was truly dreamy to her. Freya was staring at him so much that she

Nathaniel pressed a few buttons and activated the autosteer mode on the yacht before bringing Freya to the cabin. The cabin looked fancy, and it looked like a small bar. "You must be hungry, right? I'll heat up the food Koen bought earlier. That way, it'll taste better." It did not take long for Nathaniel to serve up a feast on the countertop.
