The Rebel -
Chapter 58
Six years later… …
The royal army was in the front line, the warriors standing with their hands loose behind their backs.
In fact, they were awaiting instructions from their superiors.
“Attention, Battalion A3. »
A voice was heard as the sound of boots hitting the ground at the same time echoed through the silent forest.
A man stepped forward, eyes assessing the men with full attention. He looked like a leader, his back straight.
“The red alert has been issued. Another rebellion is underway with the packs who dare to challenge us with the intention of overthrowing our Kingdom.
It is our duty to silence this rebellion and put an end to it once and for all.
The mission begins tomorrow, and to join our fight, we have…” …
He announced as he stepped aside, then pointed behind him.
To their surprise, an entire army of women stood there, their heads held high and determination evident in their eyes.
So he smiled when he saw the women standing in front.
Leading the women’s army was her primary goal in life.
His soul love, Rosie.
She stood there, staring into Ben’s eyes. After exchanging a knowing look with Ben, she turned around to reiterate the latter’s instructions to his army, in a loud and intelligible voice.
“Attention, Battalion F7!” »
His voice in turn resounded in this forest, followed by the dull sound of their footsteps.
Then she nodded as she approached Ben to stand beside him.
Out of sight, he delicately took her hand in his, just looking straight ahead.
The words he spoke next tightened his grip on hers.
“A3 and F7 Battalion!”
Get together! »
Footsteps rang out as the two armies united. In just a few seconds, they lined up in perfect synchronization.
Thousands of men and women ready to obey the orders of their superiors.
“Had they answered their call? Were they going to come? »
Rosie checked the time on her wristwatch.
Then she asked with slight fear in her voice, her eyes staring into his for answers.
“Can’t we do this alone, Ben? We are still outnumbered. »
Ben gave her a reassuring smile, trying to comfort her.
“We are by no means alone, Rosie. We are both reunited. »
And that’s when thousands of footsteps sounded behind them.
An army of thousands entered behind them.
So, Ben nodded and Rosie couldn’t believe it.
They were there.
Their new family.
Of course, the family she had gathered for them.
Before them, he stood, the boy with a mischievous spirit and a small smirk on his lips.
His hand held firmly by a blonde with bright green eyes.
The so-called fake “rebel” and longest-serving partner of one of the strongest women in history.
In fact, Vera Red’s longest known companion. And now the chief warrior of the royal pack.
Alex
For the rest, his blue eyes were fixed on his favorite companion, Rain Reynolds. A girl rejected by her partner and claimed by Alex. A sweet young girl he met three years ago near their royal borders, completely broken and shattered, yet strong and indestructible.
Her chosen one.
After exchanging a gentle smile, they moved forward, followed by another leader.
This one had bulging muscles and gray eyes, cold and deadly. His looks alone were enough to make a kid pee his pants.
But on the other hand, his large hands were enclosed in the small, soft hands of a four-year-old child. As she walked with him, trying to follow his steps.
Her beautiful brown eyes looked up to see the man she called her father.
Not biological but surely according to his heart.
By the way, the man took her in when her parents died.
The man who seemed scary on the outside but was the sweetest person you had ever met.
The sassy boy, as someone once called him
Alpha Kane.
He turned back to the girl, his favorite girl.
Having no intention of replaceing a companion after being betrayed by the first, he was the happiest man on this earth to have found his angel.
Angelica, as he called her, after saving her from a war that had taken everything away from her.
He wanted to make it his everything.
His only family, his daughter and the very reason for that smile on his face every day.
Picking her up, she rested her head on his chest and he smiled.
Indeed, he was looking forward to another war.
Following her, a man walking casually with his hands in his pants, the only one among them who shared his b***d with the strongest women in history.
An alpha aura floated around him, as he walked alone, but with the b***d of the strongest bloodline.
His eyes focused on the royal mark on his wrist, letting a small smile of nostalgia escape his lips.
His father’s last words came to mind as he clenched his fist.
“No matter what happens, always cherish the two women in your life.
Your partner and your sister. »
And he sighed, taking a deep breath.
He couldn’t do it for one of them, but he would make sure to do it for another.
With determination in his eyes, he descended with thousands of men at his side.
Lonely but yet the strongest.
They all approached Ben and the power of the figures standing there made the wolves all around bow in respect.
Rosie went to hug Rain, while the men nodded in welcome.
Angelica clung to Ben’s leg, who took her in his arms and gave her a k**s on the cheek.
“Thank you for arriving on such short notice. »
Rosie thanked and everyone nodded in agreement, Kane replied curtly. Which suddenly plunged them into sadness.
“We will be obliged after all that was sacrificed that night. »
Rain cleared her throat, looking at everyone.
She was trying to distract them from their pain.
“So, it’s the Eastern packs this time?” »
Ben nodded.
“Those from the East are the last packs still to be defeated. After which, no one will dare question the Alpha’s throne.
After which, equality and fairness will prevail forever and for eternity. »
They all nodded with small smiles on their lips.
The time was very near when they would see women put on an equal footing with men.
When they see them become Alphas in this world which will no longer be based on prejudices.
Fourteen years ago, Rebelle laid a stone at its foundation and now, after so many years, it was about to become a reality.
Indeed, the dream in which they had staked everything was finally becoming a reality.
This world was achieving equality.
And it’s thanks to her, to her ideas that changed him.
His thoughts that changed them.
“And the elders in all this? Arnold
asked, contributing to the conversation for the first time.
So Ben nodded at her before putting his hand on her shoulder.
“As surprising as it may seem, the elders are with us this time. They want to see us victorious. »
“Are you sure?” »
Kane asked him, because the ancients always hated the idea of women’s emancipation.
They thought they were good at taking care of toddlers and doing housework.
Ben nodded, smiling and turning to look at the large army awaiting his orders.
“She had turned their hearts to stone with her heroic act that night, no matter what happens now.
The sacrifice will not be in vain.
We will win. »
And that’s when Ben extended his hand, prompting them all to nod.
They placed their hands on top of his, with victory smiles already on their lips.
To little Angelica, it looked like a game of red hand.
She moved her body forward, while still remaining in Ben’s arm.
She pressed her small palms firmly against those of the others.
So, they all laughed at his innocence.
Their laughter lightened the tense atmosphere of the forest while some soldiers stifled their chuckles.
The next question caused everyone to puff out their chests and snap back to attention.
All humor has disappeared to give way to respect and admiration.
“Let the final war begin. »
Rosie said before being interrupted by Kane. His hand moved back as he looked around at the men and women.
“Where is the Alpha?” »
He asked and that’s when a dead silence fell over the forest.
Battalion A3 suddenly moved aside to give way.
And everyone turned to look at the source of the powerful Aura.
The men prostrated themselves, the women following them, to give way to the Alpha recognized as the most powerful in history.
The Alpha’s combat boots hit the ground, his footsteps echoing through the silent forest.
Everyone was too distracted by the Alpha’s entrance.
A traitor in the army who was standing there thought it was the perfect opportunity.
Therefore, he took out a walkie-talkie to inform the eastern pack of the royal army’s strength and plan.
And that’s when a knife tore the silence in the air.
Before he could even say a word to inform them, the knife was stuck in his neck.
Which imposed a dead silence in the forest.
The loud thud of his body hitting the ground was heard and everyone stared at his corpse, stunned.
Following the direction the knife came from, everyone gulped.
And that’s when everyone knew their Alpha was there.
The Rebel was there.
She walked down the clear walkway, her hands in her black leather jacket, dark black tights, and her favorite black cap.
She walked with complete confidence, and everyone bowed to her.
After sighing, she took her right hand out of the pocket to adjust her cap.
His brown eyes met their amazed gazes.
Answering their knowing smile with her own, she said in a cold voice.
” I am here. »
