The Rebellious Omega
Chapter 100

Dearest

Blair

I'm sorry for the hurt I've caused you

Please forgive me

Your stupid and idiotic mate King Braedon

I read out loud and saw my mate look embarrassed. I sniffed the roses, Josie and Sierra looking at me in awe. My heart fluttered. They were stunning. My heart melted. I couldn't stay angry at him. I stood up and walked over to him, giving him a hug and a passionate kiss that left him wide-eyed, a smile curved on his lips.

"You're forgiven," I told him, still touched "But try not to do it again" I advised him "I might not be so forgiving next time" I sighed.

He nodded, looking serious. I grinned and sat back down, putting the bouquet on the table. Sierra snatched them and gave a sniff, letting out a moan.

"My god these smell good" she cried, handing them to Josie who looked startled at Sierra's friendly manner towards her. Josie tentatively took them and sniffed. "Heavenly" she murmured, putting them back down as Braedon shook his head and chuckled again "I'm so jealous," she said wistfully.

I giggled, munching away. Liandra spoke up, her voice derisive "I don't need flowers to forgive my mate for a simple mistake but then again, I'm not a vindictive b***h like some people."

My head swiveled around and I met her eyes. She smirked. Her mate took hold of her hand and squeezed, looking like the perfect image of an adoring and loving mate. Braedon looked a little peeved but bit his tongue. I glared at her. "I guess you're a better person than me," I said nonchalantly "but then again, all couples fight and argue, why else would there be the term, he's in the doghouse? It was invented for a reason" I said thoughtfully.

She stared at me. So did most of the males at the table. I relaxed and Josie and Sierra laughed. Braedon just shook his head in resignation. "So about that security" he began and I groaned, not wanting to discuss it.

"What if I just spent time in Sierra's company and Josie? Sierra's more than capable of protecting me" I told him and he looked hesitant.

Sierra looked confused "But I have to go and deal with my punishment. Surely you would prefer to have somebody else watch over you?"

"Screw the punishment," I said with a grimace "I doubt a day in the sun is going to do you much good with a hangover anyway besides make you sicker. Plus we could go to the mall or something" I said, with pleading eyes.

There was something I wanted to get, as a way of apologizing to Braedon. Not only that but I needed something to distract me from poor Sammy. The mall would be perfect. I had a suspicion that Sierra and Josie would not only enjoy shopping but that they would insist on going into as many shops as possible.

"Well, if it's okay with Braedon" Sierra said slowly, giving Josie a sidelong glance and looking shocked "then I would be happy to go to the mall but it's entirely up to King Braedon and what he thinks."

I stared at my mate with puppy dog eyes. He groaned. "I hate when you do that, you make it almost impossible to say no." I fluttered my eyelashes at him. He sighed.

"Fine, but you're also taking at least two other warriors as well," he said heavily.

"I can agree with that," I told him agreeably.

He narrowed his eyes "And you will not attempt to lose them" he added suspiciously.

I grinned and nodded. Josie gave a squeal. "Awesome, girl's trip," she said with a fist pump in the air.

Sierra just laughed "I can't believe you want to go shopping with a hangover," she said wryly, daintily cutting into her muffin and putting some in her mouth "I have a feeling that I'm going to regret agreeing to this."

"Must be nice not to accept any of your responsibilities" I heard Liandra mutter from her spot at the table.

"If you're going to talk s**t about me, at least have the guts to say it out loud so that everyone can hear," I said loudly, causing the table to hush.

Liandra looked at me innocently "I don't understand what you mean?"

"Cut the crap, I heard what you said."

Braedon interrupted before I could explode "Liandra, I think that you and your mate should leave the table" he said quickly.

Liandra looked as though she wanted to protest and then scowled at me, getting gracefully to her feet and taking her mate's arm. Her mate seemed to be a quiet pensive man who looked at me broodingly, submitting his neck to the King as he walked past him The tension in the air disappeared as they disappeared out of the pack house and everybody breathed a little easier.

"Well, I'm off to shower and get changed. I'll meet you in the front foyer and we'll leave after that Blair" Sierra said quietly, getting to her feet and dipping her head.

I waved as she left with a small smile on her face. I might not have liked her initially but I was really warming up to her now. Josie giggled and got up. "Same here," she said with a grin "I'll meet you back here."

I watched her go. I got up and walked over to Braedon, sitting on his lap and wrapping my arms around his neck, settling against his chest as he smiled at me. "So what are you going to the mall to get?" he asked with curiosity.

I trailed a finger down his chest, oblivious to the pack members who still sat at the dining table, my focus entirely on him, my smile seductive and filled with promise. "That's for me to know and for you to replace out," I told him teasingly, listening to him give a low growl of exasperation as I laughed softly to myself. Wouldn't he get a surprise when we got back?
