The Rejected Alpha Wolf
EIGHTEEN-ESCAPING CUSTODY

Matthew POV

I was sitting in the back of the SUV between two warriors, with two more sitting behind us and two more upfront. I had spent three days in the Dark Moon dungeon before the elders sent their best warriors to escort me to the werewolf council for my sentencing. Maddox hasn't spoken to me in the last three days. I feel his presence at certain times, but he's mostly quiet.

"How much longer?" I asked as I tried to stretch my legs.

"Shut up, rapist," one warrior said as I scoffed. I growled at him.

"You don't scare me, boy."

"I've lived longer to know when snobby little Alphas try to show dominance by growling and asserting power," he laughed as his buddies joined in.

I scoffed and looked out the front window. The sun was setting, and the ride was boring. I eventually leaned back and closed my eyes, intending to nap.

"Watch out!" a warrior shouted.

I was jolted awake as a black SUV with blacked-out windows rammed us from the side, and the SUV spun off the road and into a tree. I groaned and grabbed my head with my handcuffed hands and saw blood. I heard growling as all the warriors got out of the SUV and tried to fight off whatever force had hit us.

"Timmons, watch out!" I heard one warrior yell.

I saw a body fall and blood pooled on the ground from his wounds. A minute later, the fighting had stopped, and I heard footsteps walking around the SUV.

I heard the door rip off the SUV, and my legs were grabbed.

"Hey!" I shouted.

"What the fuck?!" I said as someone pulled me to my feet, and I smelled the stench of rogues and two pack wolves.

"Shut up, Matthew," I heard a voice.

"How the fuck do you know who I am?" I asked as the voice laughed and pulled his mask over his head.

I saw the guy's face. He had short blonde hair and light blue eyes.

"I know who you are by the spies I have in your pack."

"Dark Moon," he smirked as I stared.

"What the hell do you want with me?" I asked as he chuckled.

"Your help, of course," he said.

"For a price," he added as I stared at him intently.

"What do I get in return for my services?" he chuckled lightly.

"I will help you get your pack and mate back."

"If you help me with my problem," he looked at me and waited for a response.

"And what would that be?" his eyes shined as he smiled brightly.

"To take over Blue Eclipse and get my mate back from that fucking Alpha Ace Silva," he spat with venom.

"You spent time with Ace at Alpha training, and he is or was your best friend. You know more about Blue Eclipse pack than anybody."

"Help me, and I'll help you. What do you say?" he stuck his hand as I looked at it.

I thought about it for a minute: I could be the Alpha again, and Carissa would be my submissive little slave. I grinned as I grabbed the unknown person's hand and shook it.

"Deal," I said. He smiled.

"Just call me Silas. That tall gentleman behind you is Blake," Silas said as I looked back at the tall guy behind me and nodded.

I watched Silas grab the keys off one of the dead warriors and unlock my handcuffs.

"You can come with us and freshen up and get a fresh set of clothes," Silas said.

We began walking toward another SUV, and I looked back as the rogues set the SUV and the warrior's bodies on fire.

Silas POV

I knew going after Matthew and getting him on our side was easy. Just tell them what they want to hear, and everything falls into place. Once I told him about our initial plan, he was all in. Alphas like him were so gullible and easy to manipulate. We finally returned to the Red River pack, and Matthew followed us into the pack house. My Beta Jason and Gamma Tony greeted us as we walked inside.

"You can use the Alpha floor to shower and put on some clean clothes," I told Matthew as he nodded.

Blake had been spending more time here since the elders were snooping around Lotus Shadow a lot, and he didn't want to be exposed. Whenever they asked for him, I lied and said no, I hadn't seen him. I made sure my pack said the same thing.

The elders put Gamma Victor in charge of Lotus Shadow until an Alpha was officially announced. However, because of Sarah's deeds to Lotus Shadow, she is the acting Alpha but won't take the necessary action until Blake is dealt with. I scoffed when I heard the news and laughed at the antics of that foolish woman and the elders.

"Silas, I think it's time we call in the other three packs."

"Especially Alpha Simon," I growled when Blake mentioned Simon.

"Are you fucking crazy?!"

"Simon will not only destroy their pack, but he will take all the women and children and leave us with nothing!" I shouted as Blake looked at me.

"So?" he said and shrugged. I looked at him with wide eyes.

"Okay, Blake, let's say we call Alpha Simon and let him in on our little plan."

"If we succeed in taking down Blue Eclipse, who's to stop Simon from taking Sarah or possibly Rachel? Hmm?" I watched as his eyes widened, and he growled. I smirked as Blake started losing his shit.

"Shut the fuck up, Silas!" he shouted as Matthew stepped into the office. "

Looking good there, Matthew. Go get a nice hot meal from the kitchen."

"The chefs made lamb tonight," I smirked at him as he nodded and left the office.

I turned to Blake as he sighed and picked up my office phone after sitting down.

Blake POV

"I'll call the other two packs and leave Alpha Simon out for now," I told Silas after I calmed down.

I walked over to Silas's desk, sat down, and picked up the office phone, dialing the number to Night Walker pack. Alpha Josiah had a pack size of three thousand members, and his warriors were suitable but not the best. with some training, they could get where we needed them to be.

"This is Alpha Josiah speaking," I heard Josiah say and smiled.

"Josiah, it's Blake Sullivan," I said and heard him laugh.

"Ah, Blake. To what do I owe the pleasure of this sudden phone call" he laughed through the phone.

"I need your help, Josiah," I said, waiting for his response.

"With what exactly?"

"You know word travels a lot between wolf packs," I swear I could hear his smile through the phone.

"I need help taking down the Blue Eclipse pack and getting my mate and daughter back," I told him as there was a long pause on the phone.

"I'm sorry, Blake, but going up against a pack like Blue Eclipse is suicide."

"They have two white wolves with powers, and I'm not willing to risk my warriors for a personal vendetta."

"I heard your mate rejected you because you were unfaithful, and your daughter is mated to the Alpha's son," Josiah said, and I growled.

"Consider this as a void in our alliance Blake."

"Don't call me again," I heard the line click. I slammed the receiver down.

"Night Walker pack is out," I told Silas as he shrugged.

I picked up the phone again and dialed the number for the Wind Howler pack. The line rang a few times before I heard the voice of Alpha Patrick.

"Wind Howler pack. This is Alpha Patrick is speaking," I smirked.

"Patrick, it's Blake Sullivan," I said and heard him chuckle.

"Blake damn Sullivan."

"What's good, friend?" he chuckled into the phone.

"Patrick, I called because I need your help," I said.

Patrick was Irish and American mixed but mostly Irish, his accent was very thick, his pack was around four thousand, and they lived for fighting. His pack was known for its brute strength and speed.

"Jolly good friend, what could a lad like me help you with?" I chuckled at his accent.

"Patrick, I need help taking down the Blue Eclipse pack and getting my mate and daughter back," I said, and there was a long pause.

"Blake, have you gone and hit your head on a wall?"

"Do you know how got damn strong that pack is, lad?"

"That's like knocking on death's door and waiting for the devil to greet you," I growled over the phone as he laughed.

"Blake, are you mad now because I won't help you?"

"Sorry lad. I won't be risking my pack for a suicide mission."

"Let the ladies go lad."

"The word is your mate left you for your unfaithfulness, and your daughter found her mate in the Alpha's son," I roared as Partick let out a rambunctious laugh.

"Lad, and there goes our alliance."

"Don't be calling me again," Patrick said and the line clicked. I slammed the receiver.

"Wind Howler is out too," I growled at Silas, who seemed unphased.

"I'm calling Alpha Simon. Screw that!" I said as his eyes widened.
