Mark left after watching us trained the Moon Crescent warriors. Andrew keep calling and asking him what time he’s going to be back. I cried while saying goodbye. I know that it will be a long time till we see each other again.

Hey Angel, what are you thinking about?” Lani asked.

We are now at the mall near the pack. This place is for humans. We often went here to buy things we need for the pack. Some of employee’s here are wolf.

“Im just thinking about Alpha Mark and my situation here. Everything suddenly changes since Gabriel marked me.” I said.

I’m really shocked when I found out that you’re Alpha Gabriel’s mate. Everyone is talking about it in the pack. Some are happy but a lot are still doubt of your capabilities to lead along side Alpha Gabriel.” Lani. I don’t want to be his Luna. He just marked me without my consent. I still feel like going back to Wolf Fang.” I said.

What?! You still want to leave us after being marked as our Luna?” Lani exclaimed.

I don’t know. I’m still thinking what to do next.

Slade want to stay here with her mate.”I answered.

Actually, Slade and I have been arguing about staying and leaving. She keeps telling me that she will not talk to me if we leave this pack.

You know, I’ve heard to Michael that there’s a new rule in the pack house. The girls from the pack which Alpha’s have been sleeping when you’re not here are not allowed to his room anymore.” Lani.

“Really?” I don’t know that he’s doing that.

I know you’ve been waiting for your mate for a long time so he can protect and take good care of you but Gabriel just rejected you the moment he knows that you are mate. You should not run away from your destiny. The Moon Goddess will not be paired you two if there’s no good reason to it. I can see that Gabriel is trying to win you back. Instead of looking back to the past, why don’t you try to start a new one. We can’t change the past. All we can do is just accept it and move on.” Lani

How can i do that when every time I saw him, I remember what he did to me. I still can feel the pain he causes me.”

“It’s because you still lingering to the pain that he gave to you. It causes to block all the possibilities that you two can make up together.

He’s also human Angel. I’m not saying this because I want you to take the Luna spot and stay here in the pack but as a friend who wants you to be happy. You can’t be happy by running away and I also know that you like Alpha Gabriel since childhood. Lani teases.

Whatever! Since we are here and we’re done buying things, let’s pamper ourselves and relax.” She said pulling me to the Massage parlor. We have massage and body scrub. It relaxes my body and smoothen my skin. After that we got to the salon and fix our nails and hair. We both have got hair-cut but mine was curled after treatment. I looked in the mirror and I saw how my looks improved.

“The f**k! You look gorgeous Angel. I bet, Alpha Gabriel will be having hard time controlling himself when he sees you.”

I don’t care about him. You should tell that to yourself. I’m sure my brother will have hard time too.” I said.

Lani is really beautiful. Since childhood, there’s a lot of men courting her but she refuses them all.

She is reserving herself for her true mate. My brother is so lucky to have her as his mate.

“Now, let’s go home.” Lani said.

I keep laughing at her jokes on the way home when we saw Kayden standing outside the packhouse.

“Angel, is that you?” Kayden asked staring at me.

Stop staring Kayden, it’s weird.” I said, feeling conscious in his stares.

I’m sorry, it’s just that I rarely see you dressing up. I just hope that I’m the one who’s with you today.” Kayden said.

“And why you? We went to the mall to have a girl time. Are you girl? Lani

“Are you provoking me? Be thankful that you’re a girl, ‘coz if not, I’ll show you what you are looking for.” Kayden said.

I was laughing with their bantering when I heard Michael growled. He didn’t like how Kayden talk to his mate. He signals me that the dinner is ready.

“Hey, you two, let’s go inside. Dinner is already set.” I said, pushing them inside the pack house.

They still have staring contest in front of the table and Gabriel also looking at them curiously.

Hey guys, stop that. What are you? Two years old who’s fighting for toys?

Hey lover boy Lani said pointing her fork to Kayden’s face. “Don’t try to compete being Angel’s best-friend. I know a lot of things about her. We’ve been together for eighteen years while you two spend two years only.” Lani said angrily to Kayden.

So what? We slept together, we shower together, we hug each other. Almost every day we’re together.” Kayden said in front of everyone.

I almost choke on my food I’m eating. I grab my glass of water and drink it straight. I can feel Gabriel’s emotion because of our bond. He’s getting mad of what he heard. My instinct is telling me to touch him but I fight it. I need to control myself, even if Slade is shouting in my head.

‘Go to mate! Explain!’ slade keep shouting at me but I ignore her.

“Oh really? You know only physical things about her. But I know her since childhood. Do you know that since she realized that Gabriel is a guy and she learns what crushes is, she started making love letters for him but she didn’t have courage to give it to him? Do you know that she always talks to me how handsome is Alpha Gabriel when they are in training shirt- ouch!”

I kicked Lani’s feet under the table. She’s saying a lotin front of a lot of people especially in front of Gabriel. This is freaking embarrassing.

Lani look at me apologetically when she realizes what she has done. I swear, I’m going to kill her later.

You can see how much happiness display in his face.

Yes.” I can feel my face is burning now.

“Because she likes me now.” Kayden say, saving me from a total embarrassment.

I heard a low growl coming from Gabriel.

Like your face!” Lani shouted. She’s still not get over about that best-friend thing competition.

Lani, come with me. I need to fix things in our room. I need your help.” My brother said.

I look at him and he just smiled at me.

I smiled back. He’s saving me too. He knows Lani, she will not stop until she wins.

Yes, go to your mate and leave Angel to me.”

Kayden said. He still not stopping.

Kayden stop it right now.” I said.

I need to stop him now, Gabriel emotions is surfacing. I can feel his wolf too. He might lose control and attack him. I don’t want to be in a middle of a fight, so I did the most common thing a mate should do even if I don’t want to. I hold Gabriel’s hand since he’s beside me.

“Gabriel calm down. He’s just kidding.” I whispered to his ears.

He looked at me and the pain in his eyes was too obvious. I squeeze his hand to comfort him. But he pulled away and leave the dining table. I look at his plate, he haven’t touched his foods. I sigh. This is not good.
