With the move complete, the couple was starting to settle into their new home, which also meant getting used to the staff who worked there.

For Deborah, this was a bit strange. She had grown accustomed to doing everything herself because Frederick and Vanessa's servants had always taken pleasure in tormenting her. "My love, what are you doing?" Jayden asked when he saw that she was trying to cook, despite the chef and his assistants being right there.

"I'm making us dinner," she replied.
