"Yep, check it out," Jayden said excitedly, opening the box to reveal a bag of large building blocks.

"Waaa..." James was thrilled at the sight of all the bright colors.

"Wait... is the whole box filled with blocks? Deborah asked, moving closer to see the contents of the box, which was about a meter tall. "Yep, I actually bought around 20 bags," Jayden declared with excitement. "The idea is to build a huge castle."

"Wow....you really got into this, didn't you?" Samantha said, looking at the toy bags.

"Yes! And now we're going to play, right, son?" Jayden said, trying to open a bag to dump its contents on the floor.

"One moment," Deborah said, taking the bag of toys away.

"But, love..."

"We're not going to create a mess of blocks in the living room," Deborah said, grabbing the box. "We'll replace a special room for block play." "Nooo." Jayden bemoaned.

"Son, she's right," Eric said. "It's better to play in a safe place to avoid accidents with the blocks."

"Well... I guess you're right," Jayden said, making a face.

"Actually, I have a solution to this dilemma," Samantha said cheerfully. "Come, follow me."

They exchanged glances and followed her to a room.

Upon entering, they noticed the room had no furniture, just a large window with a balcony, curtains, and a soft gray rug.

"And this?" Deborah asked, admiring the space.

"This will be James's special room," Eric said.

"It used to be Jayden's room, and eventually became his special building space," Samantha added.

"Really? I don't remember that "

"Yes, we wanted to give you an empty room to decorate with your passions and hobbies," Samantha explained.

"I like the idea. So, this room will be for James and his new blocks?" Deborah asked.

"Yes, so he can have make a mess here without disturbing anyone," Samantha said. "Thanks, Mom and Dad," Jayden said.

"Well, I'll go get some pillows so we can settle in to play." Deborah said.

Jayden smiled as he began to open the packages, much to James's excitement.

Chapter 219

Deborah returned, taking James as they all sat on the floor to play.

James picked up a block and started sucking on one piece, occasionally moving it up and down.

"No, James, look, this is how they work," Jayden said, showing him how the blocks could be joined to build a tower. "Ta-da..."

James watched, then tried to touch the tower. His attempt to push it over led to a crash, making him laugh heartily. "No, son."

"It looks like he likes it," Deborah said with amusement.

"Wait, I'll make another one." Jayden said, building another tower, only for James to knock it down with more laughter.

"Hehe, I think he enjoys the destruction for now," Deborah observed.

Jayden just smiled and continued stacking towers for the little one to knock down. While it annoyed him slightly that he couldn't build something different, hearing James's laughter made it all worthwhile. Samantha and Eric watched with smiles, capturing the moment on video to send to Nicholas and George. as hearing James laugh was truly heartwarming.

"Alright, dear, haha," Deborah said, giving Jayden a kiss on the forehead.

"Okay, James needs to take a breather," Samantha said.

"Hehe, sorry, son."

"Let's switch," Deborah said, passing the baby to her so she could build. "Look, James, this is the red color," she said, showing him a single-color tower she built. "Ah..." James reached out and tried to push the tower over.

The adults smiled and joined in the fun, creating towers and placing them next to James for him to push over.

By the afternoon, they received their long-awaited package.
