"That's right because our grandchildren just taught us lesson by saving us from this situation," Samantha said, amazed to learn that James and Elizabeth were the ones who bought the parts of the company that had been sold.

As they chatted, they made their way to the boardroom, noticing that Jimmy had already set out coffee, water, juice, and some snacks so they could talk comfortably.

"Thanks, Jimmy," Eric said, watching the young man nod and leave.

"Alright, let's talk about serious matters," Deborah said, taking a seat.

""What did you replace?" Nicholas asked.

"Hey, Dad," Jayden began, "does the name Gabriel Gates ring a bell?"

"Huh?" Eric and Samantha said. "Gabriel... Gates..."

"No idea, Dad, but apparently, he came back and, with the help of a hacker, stole our client list. It also seems he has some political connections because Brandon found out there are complaints about his terrible material quality, but they were silenced quickly with compensation done so quietly," Jayden said, frowning. "That's why we haven't heard anything in the news, and their reputation has remained intact."

"Turns out we accidentally ruined his plans," Deborah added. "He intended to buy everything you put up for sale, but obviously you went with the highest bidder offering full payment in cash."
