Chapter 76 Grandpa, I’m Not Handsome at All (2)

“Valerie agreed for you to come see her, not me.”

Mica shook her head.

“I didn’t mean that… What I meant was, given her current situation, why are you still willing to bring me to see her?”

Aren’t you afraid of letting slip?

Derek stopped the pen in his hand and looked at Mica. After a while, he slowly spoke.

“After all, you really care about her. I don’t think you would tell anyone, and besides, Valerie knows that someone is always there caring for her. It makes her happy.”

This was Derek’s true, thought.

So when Mica came to ask him in the afternoon, he did not refuse immediately.

He earnestly sought Valerie’s opinion.

When I heard that Mica was also concerned about me.

Valerie’s tone was both surprised and slightly excited.

So he brought Mica to the Fisher family.

Even if they were not my friends.

He didn’t care either.

Mica’s eyes immediately widened, and he stared at Derek in front of him, who was constantly looking down and brushing up on senior- level questions.

My heart surged for a moment.

“Thank…”

“Master Mica, your family has come to pick you up and take you home.”

Mica wanted to say something else, but the butler came up at this moment, smiling as he picked up his backpack.

Derek gestured to him by waving his hand, without even lifting his head.

Mica pursed her lips and walked onto the car with a gloomy expression.

“Sir! Go to grandfather’s house!”

“This… alright, alright.”

Halfway through the drive, Mica suddenly exclaimed excitedly to the driver.

The driver startled, but could only obediently make a U–turn.

“Grandfather!”

Once again, I arrived at my grandfather’s small courtyard, where Donald was examining the newly arrived medicinal herbs.

In the late evening, Donald looked up in surprise upon hearing the voice of his beloved grandson.

The next second, a dumpling rushed into Donald’s arms.

“Oh dear! My good grandson! Weren’t you going to a friend’s house for dinner today?”

Mica didn’t speak, she just tried to hug Donald.

“What’s wrong? Did something unhappy happen?”

Sensing Mica’s strangeness, Donald immediately discarded the herbs in his hands and hugged Mica back.

Mica shook his head and sighed.

“Grandpa, I felt that I was not handsome at all…”

“Hey! Who said that? My grandson was the most handsome!”

Donald straightened up and actually said that his grandson was not handsome.

He did not agree with this statement!

Mica recalled Derek’s words and the various things he had done, and his mouth pouted as a mist formed in his eyes.

“No, grandpa, it’s not that I wasn’t handsome…‘

The conversation came to an abrupt halt, and Mica could only hold Donald tighter to case his complicated emotions.

If Valerie came to her own house, would she bring Derek to see her?

He was a bit conflicted.

Donald’s smiling face slowly disappeared as he looked at his silent grandson in his arms.

He put away his smile, only wearing a faint smile of contentment.

Rough hands rubbed his head.

“We, Mica, have grown up! Grandpa is very happy!”

Mica looked up at her grandfather, and his eyes were filled with approval.

He rubbed his eyes and looked at the precious medicinal herbs scattered all over the yard.

“Grandpa, I came to help you.”

Saying that, I put down my backpack and willingly squatted on the ground to help Donald sort the medicinal herbs.

The determination in his eyes touched Donald’s heart.

But he didn’t say anything, happily approached and practiced herbal medicine with Mica.

Looking at his well–behaved grandson in front of him, Donald couldn’t help but reach out and rub his head again.

Forget it, as long as he is willing.
