Harvey asked, "What is it?" "It's what James Cross told me," Irene said.“But I think they recorded a video of you, and they would upload itonline in Zidonia. Many people know you over there, so you reallyshould do something soon..."

"What?!" Harvey huffed, his cheeks puffed and his eyes bulging. “IsaacJefferson must be crazy! Does he have to go that far to tarnish myreputation?!"

“You should think about how to resolve it instead of ranting," Irenepointed out.

Realizing that he had been too agitated thanks to her prodding, hesaid, * Alright. I should return to Zidonia soon."

"Yeah." Irene nodded. “TH be returning soon myself."

"You too?" Harvey lost composure right then. "Why? Because ofIsaac?"

"No. There's this forum we're going to attend. Mead Clinic is sendingthree representatives, and I'm one of them-I was thinking aboutheading home because of Lulu Adams anyway."

She naturally had her personal reasons too, which was visiting Tommyand Sheryl.

"As long as it's not for Isaac,” Harvey said, holding her gaze. 'Whenyou're home, you can contact me if you're in trouble.”

“I will," Irene said.

Back in Zidonia, Isaac was staring at the results of the DNA test, whichsays that the corpse in the castle was not genetically related.

James read it when he brought it to Isaac, and was naturallydumbfounded as well.

"There was nothing wrong with the test-they've repeated it four times,and it's the same result," he said in confusion. "Irene isn't actuallySheryl's daughter-biological, I mean."

Isaac shot him a cold glare right then, leaving James perplexed.

He then closed his eyes, his eyes flickering with a different expressionjust then. "Or maybe... the body isn't hers."

The thought that she was definitely alive left his spirits soaring.

She was alive. She must be.

James asked gingerly, "If the body was not Irene's, where did she go?"James actually wanted to say that Irene had no reason to hide, butIsaac knew that she had one-she was convinced that he did not loveher.

"Gather every person who operated on her," Isaac said with an icy glintin his eyes-he would replace out who helped her in secret!

It was his people who rescued Irene from the river and rushed her tothe hospital.

His people would never mess around, and that left the hospital staff.There were not many who had the ability or authority to help Irene fakeher death, and Stephen Carr was his prime suspect.

He certainly had the ability, and given their connection, there is everychance for him to help her.

Hence, while James gathered every other doctor, Isaac personally paidStephen a visit.

Stephen had retired for a long while, but was constantly restless andmuddleheaded, unable to get used to idling at first.

Still, his wife kept him company every day, and took him out on strolls.As he slowly became accustomed, he even bought a bird to while awaythe time.

Today, he had just come back from walking the bird when his cellphone began to ring.

He answered it, and Irene spoke from the other end, "I may returnsoon. Let's meet up when I do.”

“Why now?" Stephen asked.

“There's this forum in the country and Mead Clinic is sending me as arepresentative.”

"Good, it's been a while since we've met. How are you lately?" Stephenasked-he was quite pleased to hear that Irene was returning.Moreover, Isaac would not suspect anything since it had been a whilenow.

“I was promoted to attending physician,” Irene told him.

"Really?" Stephen was actually surprised that she made it so quickly-even If he knew that she was agenius, he was still amazed that she did it so quickly.

The doorbell suddenly rang, and Stephen's wife answered it.
