When Isaac took the sheet of paper and saw that Irene’s name was onit, he frowned.”

This isn't the driver!”

The driver he saw was a young man!

The secretary had no idea why Isaac was suddenly hostile, butadmitted, “The SUV was registered under Ms. Spencer's name...”“And that makes her the culprit?” Isaac growled as he got off thehospital bed and leveled an icy glare at her. “Is she the one youpunished?” The secretary kept her head down in silence. Fuming, Isaacbellowed, “I'm asking you a question!” “Yes, sir,” the secretary finallyreplied. Isaac was hyperventilating from sheer frustration, and thesecretary quickly apologized. “Sorry, I slipped up...”

Isaac completely ignored her and stormed outside. Whitney, who hadbeen standing by the door and trying to get in, saw him coming out.After that accident, it was perfectly reasonable to say that she had losttheir child, and Isaac would not be able to say anything against that.“Isaac,” she called out, and reached for his arm... Only for Isaac toknock her away furiously. “Move!” Whitney dropped to the floor rightthen, but no one came to help or ask after her.

While Isaac's secretary quickly headed outside and opened the door forhim, he got into his car while making a call. Soon, Zachary picked up.“Do you know where Irene is?"

“I do,” Zachary replied. “She's been admitted to a hospital. I'm with herright now.” Isaac sald nothing else and hung up, and told the secretaryto drive to Central Hospital.

They arrived soon enough, and Isaac quickly alighted and strodeinside, heading to the ward where Irene was.

Zachary was standing outside when he saw him, and approached him,saying, “Irene’s pregnant, but she suffered a miscarriage. I'm sure youknow why.”

He said that on his own volition, because he did not consider Irene astranger-she was

Isaac's wise! Now that she had made up her mind to keep the survivingtwin, she was definitely going to divorce Isaac.

At the same time, Isaac's tense reaction faded as his cheeks clenched.“What did you say? She's pregnant?”

As Zachary nodded, he felt as if his breath left his lungs as his chesttightened terribly!

She was pregnant? Whose child was it?! It could not have been hisbecause he had never touched her!

“Calm down, Isaac. You both cheated on each other, don’t you think?Whitney Cox is pregnant with your child, so you're both even. Don’t gettoo upset, and try not to blame Irene too much. Just part waysamicably...” Isaac, however, simply shoved Zachary away as he roaredfuriously, “Fuck off!”

He kicked open the door to Irene’s ward, but she did not react muchbecause she knew he was there.

Getting agitated now would only hurt her child, which was why shemust show restraint.

“Let's get a divorce, Isaac,” she said calmly.

However, Isaac's eyes were flaring with rage, his chest heaving as afire seemed to spark within. “Divorce? Just because you say so?"While he could not help feeling heartache as he saw her lying feebly inbed, he was incensed by the fact that she was pregnant with someoneelse's child!

Even as he resisted the impulse to strangle her, he growled, “Who's thefather? Tell me.

Irene remained calm as ever. “You knew I was sleeping with other menalready.”

A vein bulged over Isaac's temple right then as he glared at herfuriously. “Weren't you taking morning after pills? Were you cheating onme again after that?!". “Yes, I did,” Irene replied. “I've cheated on youon more than one occasion, so let's get a divorce.”
