Hendrick's cold, drooping eyes glanced at Roxanne indifferently There was no trace of warmth in his eyes.

Damian smiled unkindly. He folded his arms as if he was preparing to watch a drama.

Roxanne bit her lips, plucked up her courage, and said, "I only did it because of you..."

"Your karate skill... is basic and has no substance," Hendrick suddenly interrupted her. His expression remained cold.

Roxanne was undoubtedly stunned by Hendrick's remark.

Her face turned pale, and her mouth gaped open. She did not know what to say for a moment.

"You're light years behind your opponent." Hendrick suddenly brought Oneida into the conversation and added meaningfully, "You are not on the same level as her." What he said was humiliating.

Roxanne clenched her fist, and her fingertips were trembling.

She thought Hendrick would be impressed once he saw her compete in the karate tournament. Obviously, things did not go as she expected.

"Learning karate should not be for others, but for yourself." Hendrick threw another icy glance before turning around and Heaving.

Damian could not help shaking his head.

"That's Hendrick for you. He won't show mercy even if you're a girl," thought Damian.

"Don't be too sad. You know how Hendrick is..." Damian tried to comfort Roxanne before turning around to follow Hendrick.

Roxanne was left standing alone. Her shoulders were trembling slightly, and her face was pale. Once again, her heart had been broken by Hendrick.

The news of the karate tournament final spread all over Imperial Star University.

She put on her top, pants, and long boots.

The big black hood almost covered most of Oneida's head, and the black mask covered the lower half of her face.
