The Second Act Revenge (Oneida and Jackson) -
The Second Act 364
Chapter 364
Tatiana glanced coldly at Oneida. "What do you mean, we want meet him? Shouldn't he be here to celebrate Jennifer's birthday) Even though he's from the lane family with a powerful background, he's still my son-in-law and Jennifer's brother-in-law." "Come on." Lucas's face showed signs of discomfort as he heard his wife speak. "Can you just shut up? You know about his situation."
Lucas had never met Jackson, but he knew all the rumors.
He could understand how difficult it must be for Jackson to overcome his physical and psychological obstacles and appear in such a public setting.
People had their pride.
Edmund frowned, standing up to address Tatiana. "Mom, this is supposed to be a happy occasion. There's no need for this. It's enough that my sister is here. As for her husband, you know be doesn't like to meet people
Jennifer sighed theatrically, "We wouldn't look down on him. We understand his physical limitations, but it's just odd that he's never shown his face to us."
"Indeed At this moment, Nathan and Hazel also walked over.
Nathan looked vigorous and sharp-eyed as he spoke loudly, "Oneida, does that man from the Bane family think so little of His gaze turned severe as he continued, "I know your heart isn't with the Chaser family anymore, or you wouldn't have done those things. But since you're here today, it shows you still care about this family.
"Though our marriage with the Bane family is reaching above our station, it's unacceptable that Jackson has never visited the Chaser family even once. No matter his health issues, he should at least meet his in-laws!"
As Nathan finished, Jennifer gave a resigned smile. "Maybe I'm not important enough for Mr. Jackson Bane to make ant appearance."
Tatiana immediately looked at her with affection. "Don't belittle yourself, Jennifer. I'll call Jackson here right now!"
Jennifer pressed her lips together, saying nothing, but inside she was elated.
Her goal was to force Oneida's mysterious husband to show his true colors in front of everyone.
How ugly could he be to hide so much?
Oneida must be deeply ashamed of this disabled and hideous husband, which was why she never brought him home.
Today, Jennifer would make sure Jackson showed up.
This would surely embarrass Oneida beyond belief,
While she was contemplating this, Tatiana walked up to Oneida, pushing the teacup on the table aside. "Oneida, call your husband and tell him to come to Quakersville right now." She raised her chin slightly, her tone commanding.
"Today, whether he wants to come or not, he must! Tell him it's at my request, or he'll be despised by everyone for being a jerk and not respecting the elders:
Tatiana's eyes darkened, and she didn't hesitate to call Jackson a jerk."

Chapter 36
"Yes, I'd like to see him rook Hazel added. "Bring him over. We won't mock him."
At this moment, everyone present was eagerly anticipating Jackson's arrival.
What kind of disability and ugliness did this mysterious Mr. Jackson Bane possess?
Jackson had always kept to himself, never appearing in any public events, sparking intense curiosity about him.
Many had even hired paparazzi and private detectives to capture a photo of Jackson, but all efforts had failed. So Jackson's face was a mystery to all. Now, everyone's curiosity was piqued.
They couldn't wait for Jackson to show up.
Even if he were hideously ugly, they wanted to see him.
"We want to see him too!" someone shouted in Oneida's direction "Get him here quickly!"
"Even if he's an ugly monster, we won't laugh at him. Tell him it safe to come."
"Exactly, bring him here. It's not like he's bedridden with broken legs. Not visiting his in-laws even once, it's simply disgraceful!"
The whole room started to clamor.
Edmund couldn't help but glance at Oneida, only to replace his sister looking exceptionally calm.
"Oneida," he called out, worry etched in his features. "You don't have to listen to them."
"Edmund!" Tatiana snapped, clearly displeased that her son wasn't siding with her. "What are you saying? Don't meddle in adult matters!" Edmund protested, frowning deeply. "Don't force them, Mom."
If Jackson were called here to satisfy everyone's curiosity, in the end, only Oneida and Jackson would be hurt.
Who would want their flaws scrutinized by so many people?
And Oneida would be upset by this.
Edmund didn't want that to happen.
Oneida sat expressionlessly, her gaze quietly sweeping the room
Everyone was pressuring her.
They wanted to see Jackson, hoping to humiliate both her and Jackson.
Oneida's eyes narrowed, and she stood up from her chair, ready to speak, when a familiar sound of footsteps echoed from the hall entrance.
The steps were steady and powerful.
Oneida's heart skipped a beat, and she instinctively turned to look.
Sure enough, a man walked in, unhurried.
It was Jackson!

Chapter 364
He wore a formal black suit, perfectly tailored, exuding an air of elegance and nobility. He seemed otherworldly, like a Greek god descending from the heavens,
His jet-black hair, dark eyes, and strikingly handsome features paired with his sharp, defined contours made him look both refined and imposing.
He resembled an ancient noble or a deity from myth, striding step by step into the hall.
Everyone in the hall couldn't help but widen their eyes, gasping in shock.
This man was incredibly handsome, even more so than any celebrity on TV, an absolute, breathtaking beauty.
But what truly stunned them was his unique aura.
Aloof, unattainable, a natural-born ruler, immaculate, compelling awe and reverence.
Everyone held their breath as Jackson's footsteps echoed in the Hall, resonating in their hearts.
Only Oneida seemed unfazed, though her gaze was complex as she looked at him.
Why is he here? she wondered.
