The Second Act Revenge (Oneida and Jackson) -
The Second Act 401
Chapter 401
Jennifer just glared at him, unable to make a sound.
For the first time, she was in despair.
She thought Oneida wanted her dead.
She thought, 'How dare she?'
Jennifer wanted to struggle and call for help but it was just delusion.
She couldn't move or make a sound at all.
She could only wait for her death.
After doing all this, Oneida clapped her hands and walked slowly to the door.
She said, "For the sake of fairness, you have to suffer a little bit."
Oneida turned her head around and glanced coldly at Jennifer.
If Jennifer could have moved or talked, they would have been noticed by someone outside the storage room very quickly. Then the game would be boring.
Blood was still flowing out of Jennifer's arm.
She could neither move nor speak. She leaned against the wall in depression and tears streaked her face.
She stared fiercely at Oneida's back as if she wanted to kill her.
Oneida did not stay any longer. She directly opened the door and left without looking back.
Jennifer was left alone in this small storage room.
It was dim and dry.
Jennifer was desperate.
The cuts on her arm were still bleeding.
There was already blood on the ground.
Jennifer could do nothing. Her hands were tied up with strings and she couldn't even stop the bleeding.
She thought, 'Am I going to die in this place?
Jennifer raised her eyes and looked at the door in despair, hoping that someone would replace her soon.

At this moment, Oneida walked out of the storage room and strolled around leisurely
The reason why she did this was to make Jennifer know how it felt when blood slowly flew out of her body while her body gradually lost its vitality. Because in Oneida's previous life, she died in this way.

She still remembered how desperate she was back then.
Her body seemed to have lost something very important and she no longer felt any energy.
And finally, she died.
Oneida didn't care if Jennifer would die.
She just wanted this woman, who had given her endless pain in her previous life, to experience how it felt.
Suddenly, Edmund walked over to her. "Oneida."
The young man's eyes were beautifully glistening. He stared at Oneida blankly and said her name in a pleasant voice.
When Oneida saw Edmund, the gloom in her eyes disappeared in an instant.
She smiled softly, "What's wrong?"
Edmund glanced somewhere behind Oneida and did not replace Jennifer.
He frowned slightly and asked in confusion, "Where's Jennifer?"
Oneida didn't answer it directly but asked meaningfully, "What? Are you worried about her?"
Edmund immediately shook his head and said, "I just think it's a bit strange."
Oneida narrowed her eyes slightly and said lightly, "I chatted with her for a while and then she left."
She told him a lie calmly and Edmund believed it. He said, "I see.
Edmund quickly changed the subject without thinking too much about it. "By the way, Oneida, would you like to eat with me? The kitchen is ready."
Oneida had nothing urgent in the evening so she agreed with it.
After all, she was not in a hurry about the bet with Jonas.
She needed to make a plan for her next visit to the Paragon Group.
Edmund asked servants in the kitchen to make a lot of dishes.
Oneida and Edmund were sitting opposite each other.

Oneida looked at Edmund and told him what she had been thinking about. "Edmund, no matter what happens in the future, you must remember that you are the backbone of the Chaser family. Grow up, okay? "I can't help you for a very long time. You have to do it on your own in the future. I don't want you to fail to keep everything that belongs to the Chaser family. Mateo won't give up. He might come back one day." Edmund thought Oneida's words made sense but somehow he felt something weird.
He thought his sister sounded like they were her last words.
Edmund couldn't help saying, "As long as you're with me, I have nothing to be afraid of."
Hearing this, Oneida was stunned.
After a moment of silence, she said slowly, "But I won't be with you forever."

Chapter 401-
These words shocked Edmund.
His heart jolted and he asked subconsciously, "Why?"
Oneida didn't know how to explain it.

But she had an unshakable premonition that she would be in great danger on her next visit to the building of the Paragon Group.
Oneida was always confident in herself but the Paragon Group was different from any of her previous opponents.
It was not only powerful but also mysterious.
Evan, the leader of the Paragon Group, was tough.
Oneida was not sure of anything right now.
She thought she might die in the building of the Paragon Group.
But for Jackson, she had to do it.
She had to take the risk.
"Okay." Oneida found the atmosphere too grave so she said, "Let's eat now. I don't want to talk about this."
Edmund didn't give up. He asked, "Are you worried about something?"
Oneida shook her head and pretended that it was something very elusive. "You won't understand it."

In the evening, Oneida returned to the Garrison Mansion.
She received no messages from Quakersville so she didn't know if someone had found Jennifer.
If no one found Jennifer tomorrow, she might soon be informed of Jennifer's death.
Thinking about this, Oneida was very calm.
She thought whether Jennifer was alive or dead didn't matter at all.
As soon as Oneida walked into the door, she saw Jackson walking toward her.
His face was still so handsome. Everything seemed normal.
No one would think he was poisoned.
But Oneida knew when Water Death attacked him, it was the most terrible thing in the world.
Now was just the calm before the storm.
Jackson said, "Welcome home."
Jackson stared at her gently. His voice was calm and pleasant.
Oneida nodded then trotted to Jackson. She threw herself into his arms.
Oneida wanted to hug him as much as possible.

She wrapped her arms tightly around him and her cheeks were pressed against his snow-white shirt.
Jackson liked this a lot.
He felt like she was dependent on him.
He reached out to her and hugged her too.
But, Jackson suddenly frowned and asked lightly, "Ida, do you smell blood?"
Oneida thought, 'Blood?'
Oneida's heart jolted.
It must be Jennifer's blood.
She stiffened subconsciously and didn't know how to answer this question.
She had so many secrets that she hadn't shared with Jackson.
She wondered what Jackson would think of her if he knew who she was and what she had done.
