“Sean is your boyfriend?” asked Vivian with a frown, as she wondered why Estella came back.

She took a step back and asked calmly, “What are you doing here? Sean is my colleague. I can’t leavehim here drunk.”

Estella came back as she was worried about Sean. She felt that Vivian was not a simple person on firstimpression.

Although Sean looked smart, he was actually very simple. He never thought that others would harborany bad intentions against him, and he never guarded himself against anyone.

Seeing the way Vivian was behaving around Sean, Estella was certain that she made the right decisionto come back.

Estella then scoffed and asked, “So you’re okay with having this stranger take Sean away?”

Estella glared at the woman who had her arms around Sean, supporting him. She hissed fiercely, “Getyour dirty hands off my boyfriend!”

The nightclub girl secretly glanced at Vivian. She then rolled her eyes at Estella and snorted beforehelping Sean back to his seat. She thought that it was unwise to mess with Estella. She didn’t want toget involved in their feud. She narrowed her eyes at Vivian, signaling her intentions to leave.

However, before the nightclub girl had the chance to leave, she was stopped by Estella.

Estella glanced at her in her sexy clothes and sneered, “You two must be in cahoots! You are trying toset Sean up. Which brothel are you working in? Since there are no brothels in this area, you must havecome a long way. Seems like this lady here had paid you a lot of money, huh?”

Estella suspected that Vivian had hired the nightclub girl to set up a trap for Sean.

Vivian maintained her calm demeanor. She supported Sean up as she was trying to leave and snorted,“I don’t know this woman. When I came back from the bathroom, I saw her taking Sean away. I thoughtshe was Sean’s friend or that he called her over. Well, guess not.”

Estella immediately reached out her hand and stopped Vivian. “Where are you taking Sean? Give himto me.”

Vivian stared at Estella coldly, devoid of expression. “I’m Sean’s colleague. I will take the responsibilityof sending him home safely. And who are you? I’ve never heard from Sean that he has a girlfriend.Besides, I don’t even know you. If you keep harassing us, I’ll call the police!”

Estella’s anxiety rose as Vivian was about to leave with Sean. She hurriedly jumped in front of the doorto prevent them from leaving and said, “I know Janet. She can prove that I am Sean’s friend!”

Vivian tried to maintain her composure, but there was a note of impatience in her voice. “Miss, pleaseget out of the way. I really have to get him home now. I’m Sean’s colleague. I’ll drive him home safely.Don’t worry.” “I can’t let you take Sean away!” cried Estella anxiously. An idea then struck her.

Estella took out her phone and made a video call to Janet.

In Brandon’s villa,

Janet received a video call from Estella just as she came out of the bathroom after showering.

“It’s so late already. Why is Estella calling you?” asked Brandon lazily. He glanced briefly over to Janetas he checked the stock market with this tablet in his hand. He felt slightly baffled when he saw thecaller on Janet’s phone.

“Estella had never called me at such a late hour before. Maybe she has something urgent,” said Janetmatter-of- factly. Janet picked up the call.

Estella looked very anxious on the other side of the phone. “Hey, Janet. Is Brandon with you?” sheasked, going straight to the point.

Brandon leaned over and saw Estella and her surroundings clearly on the screen.

Sean was next to Estella. He had his head down and was unconscious. Beside Sean stood Vivian.

Brandon frowned slightly.

Seeing Brandon, Estella waved her hand and smiled in relief. She hurriedly explained the situation, “Mr.Larson, it’s good that you are here! You see, Sean just finished his dinner with his colleague here. Hegot drunk and was pestered by a strange woman who was trying to take advantage of him. I wanted tosend Sean home, but they wouldn’t let me because they didn’t believe I know Sean. I thought that itwould be best to check with you first, seeing that he is your assistant.”
