The Sun God Diaries
Chapter Twenty-Two: Sarah Biggins Needs a Bloody Nose

The next day (after a morning full of classes, Krav Maga with Firella- real name: Manuel Celaya, and royal lessons), I was currently enjoying lunch with both Galen and Aivox at a local deli known as Cohen’s. And since this afternoon called for some time with two of my heavenly Gorgon princes, I was dressed in earth tones and decided to go as Orpheum for the day. “You look so damn luscious, our sweet boy,” Galen said happily as we enjoyed the sandwich specials with iced tea and homemade chips. “And you being Orpheum makes the day even better.”

“I’m glad you boys approve,” I replied, my snake hair hissing seductively in agreement, popping a potato chip in my mouth before continuing with, “So I take it that you two and your brothers have been watching me go on my dates with our other mates?”

Aivox blushed deeply, looking down at his feet. Damn sheepish for a powerful Gorgon prince. “We wanted to see if the legacy was true with you being bonded to us, that was all,” he admitted. “And once we watched you swimming with Vincent and Ian as your merman, we felt the click and wanted to meet you properly.”

He smiled faintly. As I said, damn sheepish for a Gorgon prince. But I guess it’s one of the things that I like about him and his brothers. Underneath their godly and dominating exteriors that can take out a rogue or an evil force...lies four pussycats.

“Well, I would say that it’s an invasion of my privacy,” I began, “but I had a feeling that there was something more to my journey than what I was already told before my birthday. So I can give you guys a pass on that.”

“Thank you,” Galen purred, taking my right hand and kissing the back of my palm. “You are so exquisite. It makes it all the while to ask you formally to court you properly and take you out on dates.”

I raised my eyebrows. “Really? Do tell.”

“We do, and we shall,” Aivox commented, eyes glowing in power. “My brothers and I plan to take you on separate dates and show off a bit of our intimate and sensitive sides when it comes to us. We plan to keep it simple yet leave you feeling like you’re filled with love-made helium. We’re mates, you know? And we want to make sure that you are loved beyond compare.”

“So what do you say, baby boy?” Galen asked. “Wanna let us court you and take you out, say next week?”

I hummed softly, Orpheum purring as if he was Marais. “Of course,” I answered. “Just so you know, however, I don’t put out on the first date. The only way we’re going to be steaming up the bedroom is when my heat begins OR after we say ‘I do’ at the altar.”

The boys looked at me as if they had won the lotto. “You better believe that we plan to be gentlemen and treat you right,” Galen vowed. “Babe, I can’t wait to woo you to the point where you’ll be begging to wear my and our other mate’s engagement ring.”

“Well, boys, I look forward to the challenge,” I replied. “So you better work it.”

“Ugh! How shameful is that?!”

The mood of desire faded away as all eyes (my mates, mine, and the other customers) were now focused on a scantily-clad Sarah Biggins as she and three of her clones sneered down at me. “What the hell do you want?” I asked, my anger rising as my two hellhound bodyguards were at the ready.

Sarah smirked. “Isn’t it obvious? We want your boyfriends,” she said, stalking her way to a frowning Galen and proceeding to sit on his lap.

Barf! Orpheum muttered in my head. The skank hoe smells kike Britney Spears Perfume and old egg salad.

“And it never hurts to try to taste a real woman,” commented one of Sarah’s clones as she sat on Aivox while the other two took to either side of me. “You’re too wimpy to be seen with a hot god, Omega, even if you’re the so-called Sun God Wolf King.”

The one on my right nodded, caressing my cheek. “So, what do you say, Your Grace,” she asked me in my ear. “Hello. Hey, Joe. Wanna give it a go?”

And before anyone of us can protest, the ladies’ lips branded mine and the guys that caused the cafe to erupt in chaos with a few female customers calling the palace hotline while others screamed for the four harlots to get off of me and my mates.

Thankfully, the kissing didn’t last very long and the girls were off of us with arrogant smiles on their faces. “What do you think about that?” Sarah asked me. “I bet you can have a REAL woman make you guys REAL men once we finally get you in our beds.”

There was one possible way to answer that. Actually, there were two ways. I turned to Galen and Aivox and they nodded. We stood up...

Faced the four harlots...

And promptly vomited all over each of the girls’ blacks stiletto heels that made them scream in anger and embarrassment while everyone else laughed.

I then turned to the shameless leader of the gang. “Does that answer your question?” I asked lowly as she looked at me with volatile rage in her eyes. “No? How about this?”

And while I wasn’t one to fight a woman, I wasn’t afraid to give Sarah Biggins a bloody nose that made her stumble back and fall on the vomit-soaked floor.

“Consider that your warning shot,” Galen hissed angrily. “And stay away from our mate, harlot! We are GAY men and my brothers and I only want Malachi as our mate. We will NEVER want you. N-E-V-E-R!”

Sarah hissed angrily, snapping her fingers. “Girls!” she barked. “Take the prince down!”

And before I even had a chance to attack, Sarah’s three minions all jumped on me with more joining the fray while a few held Galen and Aivox from saving me. No matter how hard I tried, it seemed as if they all knew all my moves and wanted me to stay down.

“This is what you get, you fucking freak!” screamed Sarah as she pulled out a small dagger while her friends helped me up. “You think I’m crazy?! I got your crazy!”

And with her plunging the knife in my chest, I was instantly knocked into a blissful world of darkness. Dad, I said weakly in the mindlink. Send help! At Cohen’s. Get the guards.

It would be the only thing I could get out before I was rendered comatose.

And if I knew better, hell would be raised by family and the Moon Goddess.
