The girl turned pale, and her heart pounded wildly, as she looked at theburly men who now surrounded her closely. As a level seven EnergyGathering Realm cultivator, she was not strong enough to defeat thisgroup. More unfortunate was the fact that a dozen people surroundedher. She knew that escaping this situation was almost impossible.

With no options, she turned to look at Austin with big tear-filled eyes.She was angry about his ruthless and scolded him aloud, "Asshole!Don't you feel any shame at all? I am putting a curse on you! I declarethat you will not die in peace; diabolic beasts in this mountain rangewill eat you; your spiritual souls will be destroyed, and you shall bepunished to death by the thunder!" She wanted to curse him furtherbut stopped.

Her situation was very dire.

He also discovered that the highest vital energy level among thesepeople was level eight of the Energy Gathering Realm and that most ofthem were just at level six or seven of the Energy Gathering Realm. Andthe Austin of today would never be threatened by any of this.

To his thinking, there would be less trouble if he kept himself out ofsuch affairs like this. But now, this was easier said than done. Austinrealized he couldn't leave until the problem was solved.

Terrified, the girl couldn't help crying out, with her big eyes narrowed,and eyelashes shaking.

Right this moment, she somehow regretted her recklessness.

She shouldn't have dragged this stranger down with her. But the guyswere closing in on her when she saw Austin at the emergency. Shechose him for help just because of a flash in her mind. She had nointention of getting Austin to risk his life.

He was so furious with what she did that he slapped her so hard thather neck almost snapped because of the force. Instantly, the beautifuland fresh face turned red and started to swell

"You..." he blustered.

Fury made him want to hit her again.

The slap was extremely painful, and her ears continued to ring. She wasflustered and exasperated but could not speak and just stared at hercaptor.

"Hey bitch, don't be so violent. Save your energy. We have dozens ofmen waiting for you, and you'll be tired soon enough!" one of themcalled out.

His spiritual sense made Austin aware of what the girl had done. Whenhe saw that she was warning him about the attack, Austin’s heartwarmed. She didn't seem all that bad, he decided.

What the two stalkers saw was Austin, stepping forward just now,seemed to have eyes behind his head. When their weapons nearlytouched his back, he suddenly moved forward and ended up so far in ashort time to avoid the attack. What he did seemed like a magic trick!Quickly, Austin turned around and stared at the two men blandly, thecorners of his mouth rising slightly into an amused smile.

It was an eerie smile.

The sudden change in the situation now threatened the two men, whofelt cold sweat down their backs. They understood that the young manwas not weak. Someone shouted and began to use their vital energy toattack Austin with deadly movements.

The fate of their two comrades who failed in the sneak attack had therest of the group changing expressions, from cruel to fearful. And mosthad turned pale.

"People, if we are to kill him, we must do it together!" the leader calledout.

The rest visibly swallowed hard and hesitated.

"Don't be afraid because he's alone. With our number, he cannotdefend against all of us. So, we will beat him to death!"

The declaration briefly inspired them, and soon, everyone felt courage.Everyone roared like beasts and rushed towards Austin with fiercelooks.
