The Supreme God of Martial Arts
Chapter 193 Fight Face To Face

Lanny was also surprised at the news. He stood up suddenly, walkedover to the servant, seized his collar and barked, "How many people?""T-two. Two of them are coming!"

the servant replied, frightened.

"Two of them?”

Every Li in the room was stunned, yet again.

Lanny frowned as if he couldn't believe what he had heard. He askedagain, "You said that only two people from the Zhang Clan broke intoour courtyard, didn't you?"

The servant nodded vigorously.

"So those two Zhang idiots really think that we Lis are so weak? Whatare they thinking? Do they really think they can take on our whole clan?Just the two of them?"

Lanny let go of the servant as he laughed coldly.

"Okay, now I want to see how powerful the so-called members of theZhang Clan are. Are they supermen? They think they can get away withit?"

He shook his head and turned to his servant, his eyes and voice cold. "Itwill be to our advantage if they come here, which saves our time andeffort. Tell everyone in the courtyard to close the gate and block theexit. Our Courtyard is not a place they can barge in and exit as per theirwhims and fancies!"

"Yes, master," the servant said and turned around swiftly to leave anddo as Lanny had asked.

"Let's go to have a look and see who it is that gives such great courageto the Zhangs!"

Lanny waved his hand to indicate that the others follow him. Exiting themeeting hall with a laugh, he walked over the front of the courtyardwith long, deliberate strides. The others hurried to keep up with him.The group, led by Lanny, soon saw that there were two figures standingat the gate.

A thin young man of about seventeen years stood there smilingsarcastically at them. He was wearing a grey gown. The young womanwas of slender build and had a pretty face. Her eyes flashed with hatredas she saw Lanny walk towards them.

On the ground near them lay more than ten members of the Li Clan, writhing and moaning in pain. The gate that guarded the house hadbeen broken to bits.

"You must be the head of this Clan. It's nice to meet you," Austin said toLanny.

"Good. Both of you will stay here forever!” Lanny bellowed.

As his eyes followed his people on the ground, his face hardened. Someof them were badly injured and some, he realized were dead. Hestepped forward and pointed a finger at Austin. He wanted to be ascruel to this man as possible.

Austin smirked.

"I think you've made a mistake, Mr. Li. I am not a member of the ZhangClan. My family name is Lin. The lady here is the one you should betalking to. I was just helping her because of the contemptible thingsyou've done to her clan. I came here with her because I'm a gentlemanand it is unfair for her to have gone through that.”

Lanny was taken aback. He had never imagined that the young manwas only a helper and that it was the girl who was the Zhang. Thehelper was so calm and collected, as though he was talking to a friendand not a possible adversary.

"Hmm. Skippy, let me give you a piece of valuable advice. A woman willalways bring you trouble, especially a beautiful one. It's a pity you willlose your life just because of this bitch,” Lanny said cruelly. "Go and tieup this devil couple!" he ordered his servants.

Lanny assumed that Mindy had charmed Austin into helping heragainst the Li Clan.

And seeing as they were youngsters and only two of them, Lanny wasconfident that he could defeat them, even if both had high cultivationbases. He had more than a hundred cultivators from the Li Clan at hisdisposal, which were enough to fight against Austin and Mindy.

Every cultivator in the Li Clan was gathered in the courtyard once theyhad received the order.

Austin threw the cultivators an amused smile and walked into the frontyard, confident even as he was watched by so many people.

Mindy walked in beside Austin, but she wasn't as calm as he was. Shehad aroused her dragon feminine constitution and had broken throughthe Earth Realm. That was true. But she wasn't sure she would be ableto defeat so many of the Li cultivators.

"Pity that there will be no more Li Clan in Valley Town after tonight!"Austin said, his voice holding a sinister edge.

Austin walked in the spacious front yard slowly without freaking outeven though he saw there were more and more cultivators from the LiClan appeared as if he did not notice them.

"Skippy, I have to admit you have great courage!" Lanny said, grittinghis teeth.

Austin's behavior unsettled Lanny, however much he didn't want toadmit it. He waved his hand, and at his gesture, a thick, black gate shotout of nowhere and blocked the path. Again.

After the new gate was shut, more cultivators spilled onto the courtyardand surrounded Austin and Mindy. Every one of them had a weapon intheir hands and cruelty writ large on their face. Their weapons shonecold under the light of the moon.

The huge crowd of Li Clan warriors led Austin to shake his headpityingly.

"Don't even think of winning, the devil couple! We won't fight you one-to-one but I will defeat you in the surest way possible and kill both ofyou. You will regret coming to the Li Clans Courtyard tonight!" Lannysaid, his voice ringing with impending savagery.

Lanny smiled coldly at Austin, expecting Austin to be frightened at thelittle speech and the fact that both of them had been surrounded by somany cultivators.

Austin nodded as Lanny spoke. He knew that Lanny wasn't a fool. Hewas the leader of the Li Clan and had a high level of cultivation base. IfAustin were Lanny, he wouldn't fight one to one, either. There was nofairness in the world at all. There was no fairness in the world, but aslong as it could achieve the target regardless of how mean it was, it hadto be a good way. Losers were always in the wrong, and Austin fullyagreed.

"Kill them!" Lanny screamed an order, pointing at Austin and Mindy. There was great killing intent in his voice.

The order incited a roar of rage in the clan members, and they chargedat Austin and Mindy, their weapons held high.

Covered by the crowd, Lanny stared hatefully at the two young people, both of whom still looked calm. "No matter who you are, you will dietonight!" Lanny yelled, voice cold as ice.

"You think these people, who are as weak as ants, will kill us? Send inmore and I still will not fear them!" Austin said, a smile growing on hisface.

Austin looked around at the cultivators of the Li Clan. He was prettyconfident as most of them were at level four to seven of the EnergyGathering Realm.

A bright light glittered, followed by the appearance of a red sword inAustin's hand, his Violet Royal Sword.

Dozens of sword lights appeared as quick as lightning, each containingsword intent as well as powerful killing intent.

These sword lights all contained Austin’s vital energy force. He hadscattered his strength by splitting his vital energy into dozens of piecesand attached each piece to a sword light. It wasn't as powerful as thestrength he had gathered to a point. But each piece was powerfulenough to kill members of the Li Clan.
