The luminous ball glittered like gold. Austin’s wholebody shone under the numerous beams of dazzling golden light. Hismuscles, bones, and energy meridians were covered with a layer ofgolden brilliant light. The rays of golden light flew through his arteries,veins and his four limbs. It made Austin feel as if his body was full ofendless strength.

The more Austin practiced the Golden Sun Scripture, the more he feltthat it was a magical and ingenious martial arts masterpiece. He didn'tknow which grade this formula was but according to the introduction inthe outline, with persistent efforts, the practitioner would be able toprogress from the elementary stage and reach the Divine Realm. After two days in the practice room, Zen held the Violet Royal Sword inhis hand and swung the sword into the sky. He focused his mind on themovement of the sword. The sword-lights spread all over the practiceroom, with the sword intent emitting a great momentum.

Austin moved like a flying dragon. He struck the sword elegantly withquick and light steps. He showed an extraordinary swordsmanship thatno one else could match. His whole body was engulfed in the dazzlingsword-lights that intertwined with each other. It emanated a greatpower like that of a horrible rainstorm. The mist-covered fairyland-likescene was so ethereal and capricious that it made it difficult to tellwhether it was the real world or only an illusory dream.

All of a sudden, from the clouds and mists came over thirty sword-lights that went in all directions of the practice room. The sword-lightscarried terrifying murderous will and forged ahead quickly andforcefully. It was as unconquerable as ever.

Crack! Boom! Bang! ...

The deafening thuds pierced through the air and they were followed bythe sight of over thirty holes that appeared on the walls of the practiceroom.

Then swiftly, Austin took back his sword. The sword-lights and swordenergy dissipated immediately. Austin stood alone in the center of theroom with his sword in his hand and his eyes closed. He went throughthe whole process again in his mind.

He reflected on the sword's momentum and on the sword intent thatwas produced when he struck the sword moments ago. He was sointoxicated in his meditation that he buried himself with his practiceand totally forgot the world around him.

The more he dug into it, the more he understood about theswordsmanship. More insights on the swordsmanship suddenlyappeared in his mind.

Now, the sword energy and sword intent that emanated from himbecame more pure and refined. His whole figure appeared like a longsharp sword.

All of a sudden...

Clank!

Austin seemed to have heard a crisp clicking sound that rang out intohis soul. Something new was born.

A new sword radiance appeared in his soul!

Austin opened his eyes immediately and they were as sharp and cold asif they were two beams of sharp sword-lights. In a flash, numeroussharp energies intertwined with each other and surrounded Austin.When Austin gave a command, they would charge forward and launchan attack.

Austin could now strike over thirty sword-lights with the IllusorySwordsmanship! What's more, he actually gained the level two swordintent.

Austin placed the Violet Royal Sword back into its sheath with asatisfied smile spreading on his handsome face.

He glanced outside the window and found that dawn already broke inthe east. Later, the brilliant sun would rise from there.

The venue of the Top Ten Outer Disciples Ranking Challenge was at thebiggest field for practicing martial arts in the Sun Sect—The MartialArts Square. This was the most spacious place in the whole of the SunSect and could accommodate tens of thousands of spectators.

The Martial Arts Square was fully packed today. The number of peoplethere almost exceeded the upper limit of the capacity that the arenacould hold. The square housed a sea of people. In the distance, thethrong of excited spectators stretched as far as the eyes could see. Evenon the high-rises around the square, people could be seen everywhere.It was evident that this event was anticipated by many!

The shouts of the crowd soared to the sky and spread all over the place.The noise could even be heard for hundreds of miles away. Music andcheers enveloped the whole place.

Although the Top Ten Outer Disciples Ranking Challenge was acompetition for outer disciples, it also attracted other disciples. Manygrunt disciples and even the most of the inner disciples all gatheredhere. Everyone was welcome to enjoy the spectacle in the arena.

Today, all of those seats were taken.The people sitting in the front all had dignified appearances andvigorous vital energy force that surrounded them. They were imposingin their manners which awed anyone who looked at them. They werethe top leaders of the Sun Sect.

Many disciples were surprised to replace that Theon, the Sect Leader of theSun Sect was also in attendance. The Elders of the sect all decided toshow up.

The discovery of it got around fast among the disciples. All of their eyeswere intensively bored into the people who were sitting in the frontrow. After all, they were the most powerful figures in the Sun Sect.Doubts crossed their minds on why the competition this year wouldattract the attention of the leader of the Sun Sect. The Top Ten OuterDisciples Ranking Challenge was a grand event and always had been.But the Sect Leader and the Elders seldom showed up in the events thatwere held in the previous years.
