When Steward Meng heard the question of the Chief Elder to Austin, hebecame shocked. He looked at Austin’s eyes with rage. It was a fierylook as if he wanted to kill Austin. He felt betrayed when he was fooledby Austin who used an illusion to look like a disciple in the sect.

The Chief Elder and Steward Meng knew that Austin's cultivation basewas at the vital energy Earth Realm. They noticed it when Austinescaped the joint attack of the two diabolic beasts.

Austin knew he had to make a decision now. The Chief Elder andSteward Meng had gone through a fierce battle and they looked likethey were deeply injured.

Austin never fought a battle that he wasnot sure of winning. He believed that someone must choose his battlesin order to succeed in life. But Austin decided not to pick this fight andjust run away.
