Chapter 298 A Lone Wolf Walks Into The Flock Of Sheep (Part Two)
In a flash, the youth in red was blown sky-high and over the wall intothe distance.
When the dust settled down, he was nowhere to be seen, and quiteunderstandably dead.
"David Hou! He cut off David Hou's arm," shouted one of the disciplesfrom the Flaming Sun Valley. "Disciples of the Flaming Sun Valley, comeon, we have to avenge David Hou!"
"How dare you kill a member of the Blood Wolf Team! Everybody, goget him and let's tear him apart!"
With these words and shouts, the people in the yard started to rushforward and surround Austin, intending to attack him together.
"Tin, I'll help you," Evan cried.
"Tin, I'm ready to risk everything today!" Herbert exclaimed.
Seeing Austin under siege, they ran in and stood by Austin’s side. Theyhad made up their mind to fight with him, instead of backing down andleaving him alone to face the crazy mob.
"If both of you don't want to drag me down, get out of here. Go as farand as fast as you can!" Austin yelled.
Giving them these instructions, he moved as fast as lightning. Hegrabbed Evan and Herbert and threw them out through the front gate.At present, Evan and Herbert were between level six and seven ofEnergy Gathering Realm.
While Austin was at the premium stage of Earth Realm. The Wind-commanding Skill gave him an unpredictable bodily movement skill. Hedid not want them to risk their lives for him. They would slow him downin the fight which he was sure he could win alone.
Before Evan and Herbert could figure out what was happening, theywere in the air and were flying out of the gate.
They exchanged glances, feeling embarrassed at being expelled out byAustin.
"Er... Evan, Tins cultivator base is probably higher than that of thosestewards in the sects,” stated Herbert. "We will be a liability on him bybeing there with him. So let's forget about helping him."
When Austin saw Evan and Herbert had landed outside safely, heperformed the Illusory Swordsmanship.
In the face of a simultaneous siege by many people, thisswordsmanship skill would give full power to him.
As Austin wielded the Violet Royal Sword in his hand, more than 30 raysof sword-light lashed out like water spraying in all directions.
At the same time, the level four sword intent was immediately launchedby him.
The yard was instantly filled with countless sharp sword auras, sword-light, and sword intents. It was nothing short of a battle-field.
All those among the besiegers who were using swords felt as if theirswords were pulled out of their hands by a huge magnet, and theywere being pressed down by a boulder. It left them powerless and theywere unable to wield their weapons.
This was the skill of suppression of swordsmanship.
The next moment, a single move was made and the sword-light of over30 rays flew out.
Immediately, more than a dozen people were hit. They let out terrifyingscreams as they fell to the ground.
After witnessing Austin kill more than a dozen people with one move, the rest of the attackers were scared out of their wits. The men lookedat the bodies lying on the ground and lost their will to fight. Theyunderstood that though they were many in number, they were notstrong enough to face Austin.
They turned and started to run desperately towards the gate of theyard.
Austin knew that now he had become the arch-enemy of the FlamingSun Valley and the Blood Wolf Team. And there would be no chance orway of reconciliation.
Keeping that in mind, he decided to kill all those people. The lessermen left, the fewer people to fight in future.
That way, he could finish off some of the enemies before they plannedto attack him again.
Making up his mind, Austin tiptoed ahead and performed the Wind-commanding Skill. He moved at the speed of 30 meters per step. Thenhe swung his fists which carried 8, 000 pounds of great force, makingthe right and the left fist rise alternately. Even if the disciples from theFlaming Sun Valley and the Blood Wolf Team were lightly brushed byhis punches, they would be either dead or wounded. It turned into aone-sided fight totally. Austin was like a wolf and his enemies were likesheep. This was a battle of a lone wolf walking into a flock of sheep anddestroying them!
Few moments later as the wind slowed down and the dust settled, there were bodies all across the yard. All the besiegers had been killedby Austin single-handedly.
In the middle of the bodies, Austin stood covered in blood. It wasdripping from his hair and clothes. He stood firm like the god of death! As Evan and Herbert had witnessed all the events taking place in theyard from outside, their mouths opened wide—so wide that one couldstuff them with several eggs!
"It's... It's too bloody, Tin!" one of them murmured.
"Didn't you see all those people shouting and raging ahead to kill Tin?They deserved it," the other responded.
Austin stood still and said nothing.
He was lost in thoughts as he looked at the corpses lying on theground and the blood turning the land red as it flowed everywherearound his feet.
“After I killed Raymond, these people of the Flaming Sun Valley showedup in the Sun Sect to seek revenge. This means the sects leadershipmust be aware about it.
Otherwise, these people would never have been allowed to causetrouble on the turf of the Sun Sect.
Surprisingly, the people of the Blood Wolf Team also appeared in theSun Sect and came for me. Did they also have the permission of thesect's leadership?
That means, the sect's leadership has allowed the people from theFlaming Sun Valley and the Blood Wolf Team to enter the Sun Sect andreplace Evan and Herbert. It is under the guidance of the Sun Sect'sdisciples that they came in and wanted to pressurize Evan and Herbertto tell them about my whereabouts.
Does the Sun Sect's leadership also think that I'm guilty?
Those inner disciples of the Sun Sect claimed that they were sent byJaime. Could this be Jaime's plot?"
Austin probed his brain for a proper answer but couldn't figure it out.He was baffled by the turn of events.
“The fact that the people from the Flaming Sun Valley and the BloodWolf Team came to the Sun Sect means that the present situation isvery unfavorable for me. If the sect's leadership believed and sided withthose two sects, and if they think that it was all my fault and want topunish me, I would be too weak to face it all. I would be left withoutany support.’
Austin's fear was not an impossibility. After all, if Jaime, an Elder of thesect, wanted to place obstacles in his way and kill him, he could easilyinfluence the leadership of the Sun Sect. Then they would probablyagree and decide that Austin deserved to be punished.
