The Supreme God of Martial Arts
Chapter 352 Let’s Fight If You’re Not Convinced

The warriors of the Bloody Hero Gang, headed by Carter, followed thevoice. Fury flashed in their eyes.

Austin tilted his head to look at the young men.

They were about 20 years old, fair-skinned, mostly at the medium stageof the Earth Realm.

Almost everyone in the group was swollen with inordinate arrogance."Oh, they are the disciples of the Peripatetic Sect,” Austin muttered tohimself.

"Well, I know you are strong, but you are not strong enough to occupyall the top three slots. Do you really think there is no other talent in theViolet Orchid Empire apart from you?"

Even the warriors of the Bloody Hero Gang feared the members of thePeripatetic Sect.

"Haha!"

A young man belonging to the Peripatetic Sect laughed disdainfully."Since ancient times, the Peripatetic Sect has been the most powerful inthe Violet Orchid Empire. If you don't believe me, just wait and watch!"Austin's brow furrowed as he listened to their conversation.

He thought to himself, “All the outstanding warriors from every famoussect will attend the Outstanding Talents Exchange Games, so thecompetition must be very fierce. It won't be so easy to defeat all theyoung talents in the Violet Orchid Empire and make it to the final three.I'm strong enough as I have reached the premium stage of the EarthRealm at such a young age, but the young geniuses of other sects can'tbe underestimated. I have to look before I leap.’

In addition to the young men of the Peripatetic Sect, there were alsoother warriors from other sects in the tavern. Soon after the PeripateticSect and the Bloody Hero Gang quarreled with each other, the disciplesfrom other sects also kicked up a rumpus because they supporteddifferent candidates, so the tavern was full of noise.

However, the imperial capital city was governed by strict law, so thewarriors didn't dare to fight with each other, but still parted in discord.Austin silently ate all the dishes on the table. He patted his stomachand felt half full. He got up, paid the bill, and left.

It was evening when he left the tavern.

The rosy dawn was like a dream, and the starlight was like a poem.Warriors from different places were rowing on the lake, talkingcheerfully with each other.

Mists and waves stretched far into the distance. Beautiful girls weresinging merrily and dancing gracefully, entertaining their guests.

But Austin was not interested in such debauchery.

He took out a note from his pocket, on which there was an address.

It was from the teenager that Austin had met in Peace Town. He hadasked Austin to assist him in the imperial capital city six months later. That was why Austin had come to the imperial capital city. He askedpassersby about the address and once he was satisfied, he strode awayin the direction that had been pointed out to him.

Before long, a large palace-like building came into view.

Hundreds of stone steps led to its brilliantly illuminated hall. From thebottom of the steps, one couldn't see the scene in the hall.

Many ancient trees were planted along the steps, making the hall lookimposing as ever.

Austin couldn't help but wonder, "What a splendid house! Thatteenager must have blue blood.!

"Stop! How dare you burst in without approval?”

A guard shouted just as Austin was about to walk in.

He stopped, conjured a token in his hand, and showed it to the guard. The guard was struck with awe at the sight of the token. He couldn'thelp the quiver in his voice, "I'm so sorry that I didn't recognize you, mylord. Please wait a moment. I'll go in to announce your arrival.”

Austin was surprised that

the token was so useful. The guard had addressed him respectfully as"my lord" at the sight of it.

A moment later, a middle-aged man came out. Austin rememberedthat he had been following the teenager in Peace Town the last time hesaw him.

"You've come just at the right moment. I was going to send someone toPeace Town to invite you here. And now you're here! This is great. Please come in."

Austin was a little embarrassed at the middle-aged man's politeness.

"I had promised you, so I had to keep my word," Austin said with asmile.

He thought, “This mansion is like a prince's palace. It is unique, resplendent, and magnificent.

The teenager who invited me must have been born with a silver spoonin his mouth.’

Austin followed the middle-aged man down the steps.

The moment he entered the gate, a number of attics, towers, pools withrockeries, and pavilions greeted him.

A sweet smell assailed his nostrils as a group of beautiful young girlspassed by them. As they caught sight of the middle-aged man andAustin, they knelt on both knees to show their respect and greetedthem coquettishly.

So many things came into sight that Austin's eyes were kept fullyoccupied. He expressed his amazement and wonder. "It seems that youlive a rich life in the imperial capital city,” he said.

"Ha-hal It's nothing, young man," the middle-aged man said with afaint smile.

"If you serve my young master loyally, I promise that you can also livethis enviable life. You know, you will have money to burn, and your lifewill be a bed of roses.

Moreover, if my young master takes the throne, he will grant youwhatever you wish."

When the middle-aged man talked about the battle to seize the throne, his bright eyes were brilliant with delight.

He took Austin to a delicate, elegant room. He said with a smile, "Youngman, please take a break first. I'll prepare a dinner to welcome you.”"Please don't bother. I just came to help as promised. It is completelyunnecessary to stand on ceremony," Austin said politely, refusing thekind offer that the middle-aged man was making.

"It's a must. You're our distinguished guest. We can't treat youshabbily.”

Saying this, the middle-aged man left with a loud guffaw.

Gazing at his receding figure, Austin helplessly shook his head andstepped into the room for a rest.

The room was tastefully furnished. Potted plants were scattered acrossthe room, filling the air with a faint fragrance. Several pictures ofbeautiful ladies were hanging on the wooden walls. They looked sorealistic, as if they were ready to come down from the pictures

A few slender girls dressed in silks were busy serving good tea, snacksand fruits. When they passed by Austin, they made eyes at and flirtedwith him.

"Young man, we can give you whatever you want."

An exceedingly beautiful maidservant hinted rather obviously at him.Austin broke into laughter and refused politely.

An hour later, a delicate, tender voice from outside the room reachedhis ears, "Young swordsman, dinner is ready. My young master sent meto invite you."

"Okay. Thank you."

Austin stood up with a smile, patted his clothes, and walked out of theroom.

The sunset glow of the evening tinted the sky red. Outside the roomstood a tall, graceful girl, her hands by her side.

"Hello, young swordsman.”

"There is no need for courtesy. Could we proceed to dinner?"

Austin said softly.

The maidservant dared not say more. She led Austin across corridorsand stopped at the door of a magnificent hall.

Outside the hall, hundreds of delicate lanterns hung under the eaves, emitting soft, rosy light.

More than a dozen beautiful girls were waiting at the entrance of thehall. The pleasant smells of rouge and powder, wine and dishes waftedup to his nostrils.

"Young swordsman, this way please.”

The maidservant bowed slightly and led the way to the hall.

Austin stepped towards the hall after thanking her.

When he reached the entrance, more than a dozen maidservants kneltdown together.

"Young swordsman, please come in," they said sweetly.

“What a life the teenager leads!" exclaimed Austin inwardly.

“What does he do? He has so many maidservants to attend to his dailylife. He really lives on the fat of the land.’

"Austin! Long time no see!" A voice rang out the moment he enteredthe hall.

The teenager who had invited Austin to the imperial capital city sixmonths ago at the Lotus Tavern in Peace Town came out to greet him."Please come,” the teenager said affectionately as he led Austin to alarge wooden dining table in the middle of the hall.

The table was tens of meters long and several meters wide. Hundredsof men and women were sitting at it.

As Austin came into view, all of them stared at him up and down.

He could sense the indifference, the fury, and the intimidation in theireyes.

Austin also looked them up and down, studying them as they had donehim.

They all had calm breaths and sharp faces. Some had scars on theirfaces; some had lost their eyes, ears, and noses; some were fierce-looking; and some had swarthy, rough faces. To sum it up, most ofthem looked ugly.

Surprisingly, all of them had reached the preliminary stage of EarthRealm.

"Austin, they are also my distinguished guests. I had to try very hard toget them to join me. Together with you, they will help me complete mygreat cause,” the teenager explained

"Right. It's time to tell you my real name. My name is Reuben Qin," theteenager introduced himself.

"Hi, Reuben," Austin greeted Reuben politely.

Before Reuben could say anything, three strong-looking young menand a woman with a large head and big ears stood up at the same time. The woman said in a voice dripping with sarcasm, "My lord, I heard thatyou had recruited a sect disciple in Peace Town. But he's sounexpectedly young and inexperienced, like a suckling baby. My lord, you should know that you will contend with other princes for thethrone. Why do you recruit such a good-for-nothing boy?"

“Ha-ha!"

The other people in the hall burst into laughter.

"My lord, let him go! Look at him. He's too frail to stand a gust of wind. How can he fight?"

Reuben was embarrassed. He explained to Austin in a low voice, "I'm sosorry, Austin. These warriors are capable. They know no fear of deathand kill people like flies. They are arrogant, unyielding and beyondcontrol. Well..."

As a matter of fact, Reuben had an axe to grind.

He wondered how Austin would solve this problem. He was too smartnot to jump at the chance though.

Austin’s lips hardened and an angry mask shadowed his face as theother warriors looked down upon him.

Soon a vicious sneer curled the corners of his mouth.

He spat out, "You're mere rabble!" He then turned to Reuben and said,"My lord, this bunch of bums can't help you achieve what you want. I'lleliminate the dregs which will only waste refinement resources today!"After a pause, he gave the others a look of death and added, "Let'sfight if you're not convinced.”
