The Tormented Mate
Chapter 20

*Zack’s POV*

It has been almost 4 years since I became a vampire. I wanted to make sure I could handle being around people before I attempted to take Emily back. I have not had any b***d l**t for a full year now. I am ready to enact my plan in taking her. The wolves have been giving me updates occasionally, and my plan is to take her and for us to leave the country. I may be able to mind control Emily to forget her mate and her life, but I will not be able to make everyone in her pack forget her. I know leaving the country would be the best bet.

My vampire maker and mentor has a home that he has not lived in since losing his wife. That is where Emily and I will be calling our new home. My mentor has helped me learn all I can about becoming a vampire. It took me a great deal of patience to learn how to do mind control. It is not as easy as they make it look like on TV. My vamp speed was probably one of my favorite things to learn. I will be able to get Emily in and out quickly. My strength is incredible. I am faster than a wolf, but my strength is now just as equal as an Alpha wolf. It will not be as easy for Emily’s mate to take me down if he ever gets a chance again.

I have spent the last few years traveling and learning all there can be to being a vampire. I have even been studying up on wolves. I have learned that a mate bond between wolves is stronger than a typical love. If my mind control is to work on Emily, she would have to be on Wolfsbane permanently and never see her mate again. Both are part of my plan. The second I get Emily my plan is to erase her mate and replace me in her mind as her mate. I plan to erase the last few years of her life from her memory.

“You’re late.” I say as I hear Charles walk in the door.

“Sorry boss, I was waiting to her from our informants on Emily.” He says back to me.

“What’s the news? Am I ready to go retrieve her tomorrow?”

“Everything looks great. They have not had anyone guarding their home for a couple years now. I guess they have figured you have given up. I suggest going after sundown, so you do not have a chance at running into the Alpha. I would suggest going during the day but we both know the sun poses a problem for you.” He says jokingly.

Rolling my eyes. “Go on.”

“Yes. Sorry. Anyways, The Alpha leaves around 7am and comes back around 4pm but every Thursday he leaves for a meeting at the pack house around 8pm. That would be your best chance to get her. They put their kids to bed together at 7:30pm. Their kids will be asleep, and she will be alone since the Alpha will be at a meeting.”

“If everything goes as planned, I will have Emily in my arms this time tomorrow.” I say grinning.

“Yes sir.” He says to me

“Well Charles, I guess this is the last time I will see you. Thank you for all your help, and I know where to replace you if I ever need your assistance again.” I say holding at my hand for him.

He shakes my hand and smiles. “I hope everything turns out as you have hoped. Thank you for the opportunity to help.”

After he leaves my excitement grows. I can feel my c**k grow erect. I unzip my jeans to release it and begin to stroke it up and down. Before leaving the house, I write a note to leave for my mentor.

Thank you for everything you have done. I know you are not expected back here for quite a while after our fight, but I hope this letter replace you well. I know you never agreed to my plan and tried to talk me out of it, but I need her. I hope you can replace a new partner in life. You have taught me so much and I will forever be in your debt. Should you ever replace yourself in my part of the country feel free to come and stop by.

I stare at the letter for a few minutes before stepping out of the door and locking it behind me. I am traveling to a nearby hotel tonight where the pack line is since I cannot travel during the day. James has tried to talk me out of my plan since the beginning. He said I need to concentrate on replaceing true love instead of trying to mind control someone into loving me. He does not understand. Emily is mine. She has been bine since she was 14. We got into a heated argument over it a couple months ago and he left saying her would return to his home in a couple years and wants me gone by then.

I make it to my hotel and check in under an alias name. I made it only a couple hours before sunrise. I cannot escape my excited thoughts as I lay in bed waiting for sleep to replace me. I only have a few more hours before I can finally touch my Emily again.
