Charity fraud was not a rare thing. In fact, many celebrities had done it in order to increase theirpopularity. However, it was quite embarrassing to be exposed in the end.

Charity fraud could lead to different consequences. Some celebrities donated a small amount ofmoney, and that was not a big deal. They would only be condemned. But tonight's charity party wasorganized by the government to raise money and solve the official pressure.

That was why the charity ambassador was important, so if anyone committed charity fraud on thisoccasion, the consequence would be serious, and even Tom would be punished.

Elliot and Malcolm were very flustered since they understood this. They were on the same boat asTom. If something happened to Tom, they would be in trouble too.

Hearing this question, Tom did not panic at all. He smiled and said calmly, "I won't do that. It's justeight billion.”

The host took a meaningful look at Tom. Anyway, he had warned Tom, so if Tom still did it, he couldnot blame him.

He looked at Bard again and said, "Bard, it's your turn. How much do you want to donate?"

Bard glared at Tom fiercely. He didn't believe that Tom could donate eight billion. He said directly,"Hehe, even Tom donated eight billion. Of course, I won't donate less than him. I'll donate anotherfive billion."

Counting the former 3.3 billion, Bard had donated 8.3 billion, which was almost his limit!

He didn't believe that Tom could have more money. In fact, he was in the bag now. He was sure thatTom was doing charity fraud and could never have eight billion.

Tom saw his reaction and smiled meaningfully. Eight billion was astronomical for many people, butfor him, it was a little.

Besides, he wanted to do charity. Money was just a number to him, so it was better to help morepeople. Now that Bard was at odds with him, he was a little more interested.

Sean narrowed his eyes and stared straight at Tom. He was especially unhappy with Tom being sopretentious. In his opinion, Tom was a bastard, a disgrace to LT Organization, and should not haveexisted in this world. Now, not only did this bastard not live in pain, but he was really comfortablewith his great life.

He snorted heavily, wanting to kill Tom more.

Tom immediately felt the murderous intent. He also narrowed his eyes and glared at Sean withoutflinching.

Someone could sense the tension and confrontation between them.

Soon, it was the fifth charity project. This time, it was a less important project. Everyone donated alot less, and Tom only donated 100 million.

Bard donated 50 million.

The next few projects were not so important either. Tom donated 100 million every time as if itwasn't money but water. The more he donated, the more unreal it became. Many people, includingBard, were more convinced that Tom was throwing the handle after the blade, which meant hecould "donate" as much as he wanted since this was just fraud.

So far, Tom had donated 8.63 billion, and Bard had donated 8.65 billion, just 20 million more thanTom.

This was his limit. If he continued to donate, he would not be able to take out the money. It was alsoa fraud.

Others all gave up. Anyway, tonight's charity ambassador could be either Tom or Bard. Most peoplethought it would be Bard.

Finally, it came to the last charity project. It was about rebuilding the earthquake-stricken area, which had been on the news every day. The whole country was paying attention to and worryingabout this place.

The host said solemnly, "Next one is the last charity project. It is the most serious disaster area in HCountry. The losses are huge. I hope that all the bosses can lend a helping hand to support thecharity of our country!"

After saying that, the host even bowed to everyone, and Tom immediately felt respectful.

Tom had recently learned something about this disaster area. In fact, the charity organization he hadwanted to set up was to help this disaster area as part of his effort to do something for his country."I'll donate 50 million!"

"I donate 60 million!"

"I'll donate 100 million!"

"I donate..."

As the host's voice fell, many people began to donate one after another, and soon, nearly ten billionwas raised!

This amount of money was not small in charity events.

The new donations took the total amount to 30 billion now.

Soon, Bard and Tom were the only two who didn't donate in this session.

Everyone looked at the two of them.

The host asked, "Mr. Grant, Mr. Howard, how much are you two going to donate?"

Bard now donated 20 million more than Tom. In total, he donated 8.65 billion. This was already thesum of the two years of income of the North Sky Association. But he just donated it, which almostkilled him!

If it weren't for this guy Tom, he wouldn't have spent so much money. The third highest donatoronly donated a fucking billion.

However, it was worth it as long as he got the title of the charity ambassador tonight.

He glared at Tom resentfully and said, "Now that the disaster is serious and the whole country isworried, I decide to donate another 1.5 billion to help my fellow countrymen through the disaster.”This meant tonight he had donated eight hundred and eight billion. That was a staggering number!Originally, his maximum budget tonight was eight billion, which meant he had to pay the remainingeight billion himself.

It was all because of this damn Tom!

When the host heard this amount, he was a little disappointed, but he thought it made sense. Afterall, as the whole charity party was to the end, Bard had donated 8.8 billion, which was not a smallamount.

Next, he looked at Tom and asked with a smile, "Mr. Howard, you're the only one left. How muchmoney are you going to donate?"

For a moment, everyone's eyes were on Tom. Now Tom was 170 million less than Bard.

Although Tom was being stared at by so many people, he remained composed. He said calmly,"May I ask how much the construction of this disaster area will cost?"

When he asked this, everyone was stunned for a moment. They didn't know why Tom asked this. The host was also a little surprised. No one had asked such a question in the former charity eventsbefore.

However, he still answered honestly, "This area is severely afflicted. The earthquake destroyed manybuildings and facilities, and many of our compatriots died. If all of them were built, it would be morethan 20 billion."

Twenty billion!

Hearing this number, many people were silent. This number was indeed too much.

Tom continued to ask, "How much have we all donated?"

When the host heard this, he was even more confused. He didn't understand what Tom meant. Didthis man want to make up for the rest?

The host was amused, looked at Tom, and said, "Including Mr. Grant's donation, the total donationis 97634 million."

Tom's eyes flashed and his smile deepened. "That is to say, there is still 10.24 billion needed, right?""Yes." The host nodded. Suddenly, he thought of something and his heart beat faster. Next, heheard Tom say in a flat tone. "As a member of H Country, it's my duty to share the burden for thecountry. It just so happens that I have this ability. I will donate the remaining 10.24 billion alone. Ihave decided to donate 10.5 billion to support the charity of my country. I hope that our countrycan rebuild the disaster area well so that our suffering compatriots can live a good life as soon aspossible.”

As soon as he said this, the whole audience was shocked!
