Wife? What does he mean his wife. Wasn’t Ciara also trying to seduce him all this while? So when did they get married, she still dresses poorly and if they were married, she would be draped in luxury and not these rags. That’s it! He is lying to me, he must be. Tired of keeping her in place the bodyguard knocked her out and then tied her up on the stool he found on the property.

On the other side Ciara was still traumatized, it had not sinked in yet that she had been rescued from the tragedy. She was wrapped up in Liam’s arms but refused to talk which got Liam worried, he thought of the possibility of them doing something to his wife before he got the chance to rescue her, and with that he commanded the driver to send them to the hospital where Ciara underwent some tests and it was determined that she was greatly traumatized and she suffered yet another concussion.

The doctor attended to her injuries and then prescribed her some medication before telling her to rest for a few days. A week to be exact.

Liam brought her back to their house and not the Jones family residence. He wanted his wife to be in a peaceful environment with no disturbance. When they got home he led her to their bedroom and ran a bath for her and left her to clean herself up before going to the kitchen to whip up something she could stomach. It was a very light but nutritious chicken soup.

When he was done he took a bowl upstairs in a tray for her and luckily Ciara was also done with her bath by the time he got to the bedroom, they both sat by the sitting area with two sofas while Ciara drank her soup.

“I’m sorry I wasn’t there for you when it all happened, but I’ll make sure she never touches you again.”

” come on, it’s not your fault either. Who would have known that she was behind all of this and that she was this obsessed about you. I’m just glad that I’m still intact and you came before those filthy men could even lay a finger on me. For that I’m grateful to you. “

he then prepared the medication for her and also included some sleeping pills which would definitely knock her out for the rest of the evening.

They continued talking for a while about random things, Liam was actually trying to distract her from thinking about the traumatic events of that day. She soon drifted to a slumber while still sitting on the sofa. So being the caring husband that he is, Liam carried his wife to the bed and tucked her in before turning to leave.

He took his phones and walked out of the house, he was determined to make Laura pay for what she had done to his sweetheart. He drove straight to the farmhouse where Laura was kept captive.

When Liam said he would make Laura pay, he wasn’t joking at all. When he arrived at the farmhouse his two friends were already waiting there for him, but it wasn’t just Matthew and Finnick present at the entrance of the farmhouse. They had brought with them five shabby looking men. They were not the ones Laura had paid or hired, these men were far worse. They were dressed in rags and some had an awful smell, you’d swear they had not had a bath in days and probably were beggers.

Liam exchanged greetings with his friends and they then walked inside. They found Laura still unconscious and since Liam did not have the patience to wait till she wakes up, he took a bucket full of ice water and poured all it’s contents on the poor woman.

Laura woke up in shock but soon composed herself when she saw Liam, she chose not to acknowledge all the people in the room and focus on the man she desired the most.

“woooo Liam baby, I knew you would come for me. That skank definitely does not deserve to be with a glorious man like you. Come to me I would show you the world.”

Laura tried to be as seductive as she could, given the circumstance that she was in.

” skank you say huh? That woman you are talking about is my wife, the same person you tried to defile with your goons, now you will surely feel how it’s like to have five men have their way with you. If you can do it to another woman, you must be able to handle it yourself when the tables are turned. “

With that Liam turned to leave. Maybe it had not sinked in Laura’s mind what Liam meant as she didn’t look worried or scared at all.

As Liam left the hall the bodyguards had already signaled to the five shabby men to do their thing, which was probably why Laura had started screaming.
