After the matter with Nicky was settled, Theo and I renewed our marriage certificate. Green Orange was also on the track now, and everything had finally calmed down. Sitting in the office, my heart was at peace. I no longer felt impetuous.

The ringing of my phone broke the silence.

It was a call from Theo.

"What is it?"

"Nibel will be bringing his business proposal over this afternoon. Would you like to listen to it together?"

Theo brought up the meeting invitation.

"Although I want to, wouldn't that be bad?" I was a little hesitant since I had no place within the partnership between Grant Corporation and Nibel.

"Nibel wants you to join."

That sentence of his stunned me. "Why?"

"Come over this afternoon."

"Alright."

Grant Corporation.

When I arrived at the conference room, Nibel and Theo were already inside.

"My apologies for being late." I went to my seat and sat down.

Keith was standing at the side. He closed the lights after he saw me and slowly projected Nibel's proposal.

He said he was optimistic about Grant Corporation's newly developed product this time-Gold-O Face Cream, which focused on cleansing and rejuvenating the skin. It adopted the traditional Hattonese medicine formula combined with advanced technology. This was also Grant Corporation's first step into starting its own skincare brand.

However, Nibel wanted to get involved now, and Theo seemed to be interested in working with him. I frowned. This was not making any sense.

If Grant Corporation wanted to build a brand, it should develop it independently. Why invite Nibel?

The proposal ended, and I stopped pondering.

"For so many years, only the

skincare products under Grant Corporation's brands have been the weakest. You intend to ignite a flame with the Gold-O Face Cream this time, President Grant. If the product isn't strong, it'll be futile no matter how much you promote it. However, I can offer you the most advanced development technology. Partner up with me, President Grant. I can develop a Gold-O Face Cream that's more perfect than the one now."

Nibel was very confident. I also believed that he would be able to manage it with his strength.

I glanced at Theo and noted there was no emotion on his face at all. I had no idea what was going on in his head.

Some time passed, and Theo finally spoke. "I believe you have the strength in this area, Mr. Nibel, but that doesn't mean I don't. Even without you, I'd be able to develop a good face cream. This doesn't impress me." Was he not being too straightforward?

I snuck a peek at Nibel, and he did not look too good. Head lowered, I wanted to say something to break the deadlock, but then Nibel spoke up in the next second, "Of course, l know you have the ability to develop it, President Grant, but I have the best R&D team under me. Are you sure you can keep up?"

"Could you be referring to the EUR?"

"You're right. I wonder if you'd be satisfied with this R&D team, President Grant?"

The EUR possessed the most advanced research and development technology. They had not launched many products, but all of them were of high quality. It was said that any product developed by the EUR should be bought as they could change a woman's skin from head to toe.

With the EUR's support, it would not be difficult for Gold-O Face Cream to be improved further from what it was now.

I knew Theo would be convinced.

Sure enough, he had already decided. "Mr. Nibel, I'd be delighted to have you join us."

This was too tempting.

Nibel abruptly turned his gaze to me. "Miss Wanda, I requested President Grant to invite you over today as I have my own selfish motives."

I paused. "Please speak, Mr. Nibel."

"Green Orange must be in need of new products now. Perhaps we can also work together."
