Theo was speechless.

I raised an eyebrow and asked, "So, are you going to promise me that or not?"

"Serve me well," Theo said huffily, "and then I'll promise you."

Afraid he would go back on his word, I coldly said," Promise me first."

Theo ground his molars and gritted his teeth together as he said, "I promise."

Overjoyed, I said fearlessly, "You’ll be a b*tch if you break your promise.”

"Wanda Lane!" Theo lowered his head to nibble on my neck. "That's enough. Don't push your luck."

"Hah.” I merely laughed lightly, not saying anything else.

He was a man of his word and phoned his secretary to let him know that they were going to give upon trying to acquire Magnificent Entertainment. I drifted off to sleep in peace.

I remained asleep until the next afternoon. When I woke up and saw his broad chest, my immediatereaction was to raise my head and look at Theo's

handsome face. I could not help but sigh in my heart a s all other thoughts flew from my mind. Itwas even a treat to just get to stare at this man’s face.

He was sound asleep, and I did not want to wake him u p, so I turned over onto my back to stare atthe ceiling.

About another half-hour passed before I could no longer lay still. I poked his chest with a finger as Isaid, "Time to wake up."

I was startled when my hand was suddenly grabbed, and I raised my eyes to look into the man’sglinting eyes. Sighing, I asked, "Was it fun to pretend you were asleep?”

"Trying to seduce me the minute you wake up?" Theo impishly asked.

I frowned as I shook the hand holding mine off and sat up on the bed.

He sat up with me, and I was stunned when I saw his back.

Upon noticing me looking at his back, Theo laughed coldly and said, "I don't think there's even aninch of m y back that’s gone unharmed.”

"Serves you right." I huffed coldly.

When I finished taking a shower and walked back out, I saw that Theo was also putting his clotheson. I raised an eyebrow and asked, "Are you going to the office as well?" "You should stay at hometoday." Theo's eyebrows were knitted together so tightly they could squash a fly.

I shook my head. "I have a meeting this afternoon I must attend."

Theo messed up his hair in frustration before finally saying, "Then you must allow me to bring youthere.”

"Sure." I did not refuse.

After having a simple lunch, Theo drove me over to Magnificent Pictures Television, where hedropped m e off at the main entrance.

Lunch break was almost over, and there were a lot of employees walking in and out the main doors.

I undid my seatbelt and quietly said, "I'm getting off now."

I had gotten out of the car and only taken two steps forward when someone grabbed my arm fromthe back.

Turning around, I stared at Theo in confusion. "What's up?"

He pointed at his lips. "Goodbye kiss."

Theo's eyes narrowed slightly as he said in a threatening voice, "So, you're not going to kiss me?"
