I pursed my lips. "Quinn, you're just Theo's cousin and not really a senior. Do you really think you'requalified to make this decision for him?"

Quinn froze while drinking tea. She looked calmly and indifferently at me. "Your identity is anunusual one. You’re Tyler and Yvonne's goddaughter and Grayson

and Petra's biological daughter. I hope you know that because you have an unusual identity, thereare certain things that you must never do because reputation is more important than your life. I'mdoing this for your own good."

I had to admit that she did have a point, though her intentions might not be so pleasant.

I fell silent for a long time and got up. "You have a point, Quinn. Theo and I aren't married, so co-living is surely going to affect our reputation. I'm sorry for making you worry for us. I'll leaveimmediately.”

Having said that, I got up to go upstairs to pack my bags.

"Wait." Quinn stopped me. "You can move two days later after you replace a place. If you leave now,aren’t you simply telling Theo that I’m driving you away?"

I raised my eyebrow. "Are you not?"

Her countenance froze. She was dumbfounded and embarrassed for a moment. However, it lastedfor only a fleeting moment before she continued, "Of course not. I'm doing it for your sake. I wantyou to have a good reputation as a lady."

I smiled slightly with a blank look on my face. "I appreciate your good intentions.”

She shook her head, the awkwardness on her face dissipating. She said with a smile, "You’reTheo’s ex-wife, so it's fine for you to stay at his place for a day or two after having just returned toWhaldorf City with your son. You don't need to be in a rush to move. Besides, Theo wouldn’t wantyou to leave. While you're still here, you can start looking for a new place and make an excuse tomove out so he won't be that upset about it."

In other words, she wanted Theo and me to get into an argument first so that there was an excusefor me to move out?

I nearly laughed out in anger. Selfish people could always think of all sorts of bad ideas in order toachieve their goals.

"There's no need to give so many excuses. I didn’t have plans on staying here for too long anywayand it was only a matter of time before I moved out," I said in a cold voice.

After going upstairs and keeping all my clothes in the luggage, I came down and saw Quinnstanding in my way. She persuaded me with determination. "Can’t you listen to me and move out afew days later, Wanda?"

I smiled slightly. "I was going to move out sooner or later anyway, so I might as well move out todaysince I have the time."

Keith had been at the villa these days, so when he saw me lifting my luggage trying to leave, hequickly gave Theo a call.

Later, he rushed over to stop me and asked with a frown, "Where are you going, Mrs. Grant?"
