"You're not going to listen to me again, huh?” Theo pulled a long face. "You can’t touch cold waternow."

I shrank back and could only resign myself to my fate.

Never in a million years did I expect to see the magnate whose office was on the top floor of thehighest building in Whaldorf City roll up his sleeves to wash my dirty pajama pants in the bathroom.

I stood on one side, looking at the red-stained water and coughing awkwardly.

He glanced at me with an extremely natural expression. "Does your belly hurt?"

I shook my head. "I don't have particularly painful cramps when I have my period for a few yearsnow. Maybe it’s because I had a normal routine when I was i n Zenon and ate my meals regularly.Coupled with the warm weather, I don't really catch a cold or anything. That's why my health hasimproved considerably."

Theo chuckled. "That's good to hear."

Looking at what he was scrubbing and washing, I could not help but blush. After thinking about it, Iturned around and left the bathroom.

After going downstairs, I saw Munchkin driving a miniature car in the living room with Snowyrunning

alongside him, looking extremely thrilled.

Seeing that I had come downstairs, he drove the miniature car toward me and said excitedly, "Lookat this miniature car, Mommy. Don't you think it's really cool?”

I had not seen this miniature car before and figured that Keith must have sent it over.

I thought Theo was indulging him a little too much, but after thinking about it, if we were not short ofmoney yet we refused to let our child enjoy a good life, what was the point of making money, then?

After thinking about it this way, I stroked Munchkin's head and said with a smile, "The miniature caris very cool, but you look cooler."

He was overjoyed by my compliment and twirled around me as soon as he got out of the car.Snowy mimicked his behavior and circled around me as well.

The villa was suddenly filled with laughter.

"Alright now, Munchkin." I grabbed the slightly excited Munchkin. "Be a good boy and tell me if youhad your breakfast this morning?"

He nodded hard. "Mr. Keith brought us some pancakes that were really good. I ate so much it feelslike my stomach is about to explode."

After a pause, he pointed to the kitchen and continued, "The caretaker has put the rest in the foodwarmer. Do you want to wait for Theo and have it with

him?"

I nodded. "Do you want to have some more?"

"No, no." Munchkin shook his head hard. "I’m still very full."

I laughed and said no more.

There was only one caretaker left at home. She was usually in charge of cooking because hourlyworkers would come over every day on time to clean the house.

When Munchkin was in the Schumans’ place last time, the caretaker had said a lot of improperthings to him, so after Theo and I discussed it, we decided to hire only one caretaker.

Munchkin was still young, so there were not many things he should not listen to. The servantsalways had a lot to say, and I was not always around to keep a n eye on him. If someone saidinappropriate things to him and made him sad or hurt his young and fragile heart, then things couldget very bad.

I thought it was safer for me to spend more time with Munchkin and keep him company.

After waiting for a very long time, Theo had yet to come downstairs, so I planned to go upstairs andcheck on him.

When I got into the room, I saw Theo walking out of the bathroom with my washed pajama pantsand coughed lightly. "If you're done washing, then come downstairs to have something to eat."

He nodded with a smile. "I'll go after drying this."

I stood behind him and watched him hang my pajama pants up on the drying rack, stroking it withhis hands a few times. I felt my face blush.

He turned around, his gaze warm and tender. "Why aren't you eating first?"

I pursed my lips, saying unnaturally, "How can I be so shameless to start without you when you’rewashing my clothes for me?"

After a pause, I said in a soft voice, "Thank you."

Theo wiped his hands and stroked my face. "How are you going to thank me?”
