soaked his clothes.”
Phoebe grinned mischievously. “Oh? Is that so?”
Mila grew more flustered as she explained, “Y-Yes, obviously. Plus, we were married. I’ve seen himwith his clothes off, and it’s nothing.”
As Mila brought up their marriage, Phoebe asked, “Mila, you’ve been married to him for six monthsafter losing your memory. Have you

“What?”
“You know, that stuff where you sleep together.” Phoebe smiled as she gestured suggestively with herfingers.

Nathan, who was pretending to be asleep, frowned. His body was still, but there was turmoil going onwithin him.
Mila didn’t know if Nathan was impotent or not. What she did know was that Nathan respected her andwould never force her to do anything.

“All right, be careful. Don’t let anyone else replace him.”
“Okay.”

However, the blanket slipped down his shoulders. She tried twice more, but the blanket was stillslipping down. She got down on her knees right next to him and wrapped the blanket around him.
Nathan lifted his head. His misty eyes met her clear ones. In the blink of an eye, the atmospherebecame warm, soft, and serene. It was as if the whole world had fallen silent as they locked eyes.Nathan saw. tenderness in Mila’s eyes, while Mila saw passion in Nathan’s.

“Of course.”
“Then why are you still doing this?”
