To Be Yours Again novel (Alec and Jenny)
Chapter 1104 Far From Over

Alec didn't know whether Jenny would really come back. He only knew that when he saw Jenny being forcefully taken onto the plane by Howard, he was completely devastated. He regretted not following them from the beginning. If he had, Howard wouldn't have threatened Jenny, and she wouldn't have been taken away.

"Why the fuck didn't I follow her here?!" Alec questioned himself in agony. He believed in Jenny and thought she could handle it. Besides, Jenny didn't let him come with her, saying it wasn't necessary. When Vincent and his men rushed to the airport, Alec was kneeling on the floor in despair. He was in such a miserable state that Vincent felt sorry for him. Gunshots could still be heard once in a while, but things seemed to have calmed down considerably. The people who had come for Evan must have left since their target had been Evan and not Alec. They didn't really want to step on Alec's toes within the country.

"Mr. Faust..." Vincent approached Alec, whose face was obscured as he was holding it in his hands. At that moment, he didn't know how to console his employer.

To his surprise, Alec calmed down quickly and ordered, "Find out where Evan's plane is heading." Even if they had to go to outer space, he would replace Evan and bring him back!

"Okay, I'll go check it now!" Vincent nodded and breathed a sigh of relief. He was really afraid that the incident would crush Alec.

The gunfight ended abruptly as if it had never happened, and everyone went about their own business without mentioning the matter. But they all knew it was far from over.

At this point, on the plane, Jenny finally learned they were on a private plane with all kinds of facilities on board. Howard had specially arranged for a doctor to be on standby. That was why he insisted that Jenny board the plane.

Although the equipment on the plane was limited, there was no problem stopping the bleeding and saving Evan's life for the time being.

"I'm curious why you suddenly changed your mind, Miss Walter?" After making sure that Evan wasn't in danger, Howard walked up to Jenny and looked at her coldly.

Jenny glanced at him and answered indifferently, "I know everything."

Howard was stunned but quickly understood what she meant. "You know everything?"

"Obviously. Did you think your plan was perfect?" Jenny asked sarcastically. After knowing everything, she couldn't look at Howard the same way as before, especially since he'd pointed a gun at her and forced her onto the plane.

Upon hearing that, Howard relaxed instead. "Good to know. I was just worried about how to come up with excuses for Boss' recovery after we arrived. Now I don't have to put in that effort."

Covering up a lie would require countless other lies. Howard was already tired of it, and now, he didn't have to keep it up any longer. He felt much more at ease.

"Now that you know, you better behave yourself. The boss likes you so much, so he won't hurt you. When you arrive at our territory, only good times await you." After all these years, she was still the only person Evan liked. Howard wasn't fond of her, but he wouldn't harm her in any way for Evan's sake.

Jenny sneered. "Do you think I'll just stay put when I know everything?"

"I'm not joking when I said you should behave. Do you think you can still escape from us?" Jenny might have a chance if they were in Clusia because it wasn't their territory. But now that they had left, no matter what Jenny's identity was back in her country, she had no power abroad.

Jenny didn't want to talk to him. She only needed to wait for Evan to wake up. "Where are we stopping? We shouldn't delay treatment for Evan's injury for too long."

"Don't worry. I've arranged everything. The boss will be fine," Howard said.
