To Be Yours Again novel (Alec and Jenny)
Chapter 1267 Your Grandson's Not Too Bad

In Parrington, Jenny and Alec walked out of the airport and sat in Warren's car.

"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Faust," Warren said, smiling.

Jenny was stunned. This manner of greeting her seemed familiar yet foreign. "We're not married yet, Warren. You can just call me Jenny."

"You were always Mrs. Faust. But something happened before, and now you're back on track. Of course, I'd call you Mrs. Faust." Warren was happy. He witnessed Alec and Jenny coming together. Even though they hadn't married yet, it didn't matter to him. Even before, when Alec and Jenny started dating, Warren had the same thoughts in mind.

Jenny wanted to speak, but Alec spoke first. "Warren is right. You're destined to be Mrs. Faust. It's not wrong of him to call you that."

Since Alec was standing on Warren's side, Jenny had no other choice. "Alright. Whatever you say."

Since she and Alec were definitely going to marry, there was no need to care so much about greetings.

They reached the Old Mansion quickly. Old Mr. Faust was in the living room waiting for them. He'd looked out of the window quite a few times already. Finally, the car drove in. He smiled at once. "They're finally here."

Alec and Jenny got down from the car and walked straight toward him. "Grandpa."

"You're back, Jenny." Old Mr. Faust looked at Jenny, already thinking of her as his granddaughter.

Jenny walked up to him and held his arm, smiling. "We're back to see you again. You don't think we're a bother, do you?"

"Of course not. I'd love to have you and Alec by my side always." But he knew that it was impossible. Alec was already grown up and no longer needed his protection. The only thing that Old Mr. Faust could do now was try not to be a bother.

"Don't worry. Alec and I will come to see you often. Why don't you come to Bardoff City with us?" Jenny felt that Bardoff City would be a better place for him to be in. That way, she and Alec would be able to take care of him.

But Old Mr. Faust shook his head and got Jenny to sit next to him. "Bardoff City is nice, but it isn't suitable for an old man like me. Parrington is better. I've already lived here for a few decades, and I'm used to it." On top of that, he had old friends here. If he was bored, he could talk to them.

If he went to Bardoff City, he would have nothing to do besides sit in the house all day.

Jenny didn't force it on him. Alec had already told her this before, so she wasn't surprised. "Alright. Alec and I will respect your wishes. You can go if you want, and you don't have to if you don't want. Alec and I will come back to see you."

"Good girl." Old Mr. Faust was very happy.

The three of them sat down. Warren went into the kitchen to check on their progress.

"You brat. At least you haven't disappointed me this time." Old Mr. Faust looked at Alec. He was extremely satisfied.

Alec smiled. "Of course. Your grandson's not too bad."

Old Mr. Faust rolled his eyes at him and said angrily, "That sounds nice, but I won't forget the person who refused to get together with Jenny the first time."

"That was so long ago, Grandpa. Why are you still talking about that?" Alec felt that it was a black mark in his past.

Old Mr. Faust chuckled. "Of course, I have to. This is to make you cherish her. Otherwise, you'll regret it after you lose her."

"I know. I'll cherish her this time." Alec didn't need his reminder to do that.
