Chapter 459 Do You Understand Your Mission?

"Mr. Faust, I also discovered that Alfred has joined Miss Walter's company, " Vincent reported truthfully. He thought that it was odd and deserved Alec's attention.

At once, Alec's face darkened. It was no wonder that Jenny would ask him that question. She must have seen Alfred and noticed their similarities.

"Should we tell her? I worry that Alfred has bad intentions," Vincent said.

Alec nodded. 'Til tell her about it. Let's go to work."

Vincent said nothing else, driving the car toward Faust Group.

Meanwhile, in Bardoff City, Rowena Glass looked at the woman before her coldly. "Do you understand your mission?"

"Yes." The woman nodded. If Jenny were around, she would realize that this was the same woman who beat her up but didn't kill her the last time. "Failure is not an option,' Rowena said. She wouldn't let Jenny return to the Walters.

The woman said nothing and left the study room. She thought that Jenny was interesting, but it wouldn't stop her from claiming her life.

On the other side of Bardoff City, Natalia Cruz looked at her sickly grandfather on the bed with teary eyes. "You'll be alright, Grandpa.' "Don't cry. I'm not dead yet," he chided.

Natalia wiped her tears away. Then, she thought of something. "Grandpa, I know of a very talented neurosurgeon. We could try her out."

"Natalia, I am heavily ill. However, I'm glad that you care about me. We'll give her a try." Her grandfather didn't care about doctors. He only cared about his granddaughter.

Natalia smiled at once. 'Alright. I'll get her to come to Bardoff City to perform your surgery.'

She left the room and walked out of the house, taking the earliest flight to Parrington.

The neurosurgeon she was talking about was, of course, Jenny. Because of her ties with Alec, she had researched Jenny before and learned about her skills. Even though her grandfather was already treated by all the famous doctors in Bardoff City, Natalia still didn't give up. She would rather place all her hopes on Jenny.

The sky gradually darkened. Jenny, now done with her free clinic duties, returned home. Just like yesterday, Alec's door was ajar. She guessed that he had food prepared.

"He suddenly seems like a stay-at-home husband," she thought and nearly laughed out loud.

Alec got out of his home and saw Jenny's smile. "What made you this happy?"

"Nothing. It's just I think you're like a stay-at-home husband." Especially since Alec was wearing an apron.

Alec looked down at the apron and smiled, too. "I already am. Have you eaten?" he asked, looking at her hopefully.

Jenny shook her head. "Would you be upset if I already ate?"

Alec smiled bitterly, not denying it. "Did you starve yourself so that I wouldn't feel upset?'

"No way. I just got home. I didn't have the time to eat." Jenny refused to admit that he was right.

Alec didn't argue with her. He gestured for her to come in. "Well, let's eat.

I've already prepared everything." "I can't refuse you when you're being so generous," Jenny said, walking into his house.
