Chapter 106 Go Hostile

Daniella rushed to the desk and asked in tears, “Grandpa, did you take Caroline? I know you did it

for me, but if you really did take Caroline, will you release her, please?”

Grayson’s expression turned somber. “Ella, have you forgotten how overbearing she was to you?

Don’t you want Evan and the marriage anymore?”

Daniella shook her head, crying. “Evan wanted to choke me to death when I was at Villa Rosa

earlier, Grandpa. We can’t rush love, and I believe that I can still get back Evan!

“But if something bad happens to Caroline, my relationship with him will be over. He’s going to

make me get an abortion!”

“Did he really say that?” Grayson’s gaze turned grave. “I’m going to go hostile on him if that’s the

case!”

Daniella was shocked. Did Grayson really abduct Caroline? She didn’t want to have a falling out

with Evan! She loved Evan and could deal with Caroline anytime, but not now!

Daniella wept. “I’m begging you, Grandpa! Your action must have intimidated her enough to stop

fighting for Evan’s attention with me. Plus, I’m already three months along. It would be bad for me

to get an abortion now. I’ll lose my mind if I become infertile.”

Grayson was startled. “You’re too kind, child. I did get someone to abduct her and put her in a

deserted house in the southern suburbs. Here’s an idea. We’ll wait two more days. I’ll release her if

she survives this, okay?”

Daniella felt immensely relieved that Grayson would be so accommodating. She wanted to use

this opportunity to change Evan’s perception of her.

However, Daniella was unaware that Neil had overheard everything. He sent a voice message to

Evan as soon as he heard the conversation. Then, he put on his coat and drove to the southern

suburbs.

When Evan listened to Neil’s voice message, his eyes were filled with bloodthirsty coldness. He

ordered Reuben to bring more people to search the southern suburbs before he left Villa Rosa.

Daniella called when he was driving. Evan picked up the call solemnly.

“Evan, she’s in the southern suburbs. The exact location is unknown.”

Evan hung up the call without saying anything. He would deal with the Xanders for this sooner or

later!

The southern suburbs were a vast area. Evan’s subordinates spent a day searching, and Paige and

Scott joined them.

At 1:00 a.m., the bodyguards narrowed the search area to a forest, and Evan came rushing over

after hearing the noises.

The bodyguards searched the forest with flashlights and soon found a house.

A bodyguard immediately shouted, “Mr. Jordan! There’s a house here!”

Evan walked in the direction of the voice, and his gaze dimmed visibly when he saw the metal

chain used to lock the door. “Smash it!”

The bodyguards broke the metal chain in a few seconds with their tools.

When the door was opened, Evan saw Caroline curling up on the ground right away.

His heart was racing, and he rushed into the house.

“Caroline!” Evan’s voice sounded shaky.

Caroline lay on the ground without moving, and her emaciated face was ghastly pale. She

appeared to be on the verge of death.

Evan scooped Caroline up into his arms, his eyes bloodshot.

He roared to the bodyguards harshly, “Get Scott to come quickly!”
