Trapped in Love By Kitty Song -
Chapter 251
Chapter 251 His Phone Is Turned Off
They selected a fancy restaurant.
Once they were seated, Daniella handed her business card to the man. “Here’s my card. I’m
Daniella Love.”
He accepted her card with a faint smile. “Ah, you’re the chairwoman of YN, the newly–founded
company.”
“It’s nothing special,” Daniella replied, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. “May I know your
name?”
“I am Casey Jordan.”
‘Casey… Jordan? Daniella was taken aback. ‘Evan’s older brother, Casey?”
She recalled her grandfather mentioning Casey once in the past.
When Casey noticed Daniella’s shocked expression, a hint of contempt briefly crossed his
seemingly friendly eyes.
“Is something wrong, Ms. Love?” Casey asked.
“No, it’s just… a coincidence,” Daniella said, snapping back to reality.
Meanwhile, Caroline was in a meeting with the sales and planning departments at TYC.
The sales manager reported, “Our sales revenue has exceeded 100,000,000 dollars since the launch
of our new product, Ms. Shenton. We’ll soon initiate the second wave of pre–orders.”
Caroline nodded “Understood. Maintain customer communication after sales. Have we finalized
the storefront location?”
“Yes, Ms. Shenton. We’ll email the details for your review,” replied the planning department
manager.
“Good. Focus on model selection, and if possible, close the deal by next week…”
As Caroline finished speaking, her phone vibrated on the table. She noticed Naomi’s name and
answered. “Hello-”
Caroline’s voice was interrupted by terrifying screams and chaotic footsteps on the call.
For a moment, her body froze, and she checked her watch. “Naomi should be at the factory right now.
Has something gone wrong there?‘ she wondered.

However, before she could voice her thoughts, Naomi urgently said, “Ms. Shenton! There’s a fire at the
factory! The workers are evacuating, and the firefighters are on their way.”
Caroline’s face turned pale. “What?”
“The factory is on fire, and we don’t know the cause yet!”
Caroline jumped to her feet. “I’m on my way!”
Caroline arrived at the factory an hour later, where the fire was nearly extinguished. The once-
organized facility now resembled a wasteland.
Her bodyguard rushed to her side. “Are you okay, Ms Shenton?”
Caroline steadied herself and stammered, “I–I’m fine.”
Naomi approached, her hair partly burnt and her face smudged with ash
“Ms. Shenton, all the imported fabrics have been destroyed. I tried calling the VP, but his phone is off,”
Naomi said.
“Contacting Kenny won’t help now! Caroline furrowed her brow and struggled to stay composed.
How are the workers?”
“We’ve sent the injured ones to the hospital.”
“You’ve handled that well. Ensure proper follow–up support for the workers and their families. Have the
lawyer discuss compensation for the injured workers. Don’t offer meager bereavement compensation.
Treat the workers fairly, even those with minor injuries.
“Once the negotiations conclude, have them sign the compensation agreement. Also, make sure the
temporarily unemployed workers receive adequate daily living expenses.”
Naomi looked surprised. “Ms. Shenton, this will cost a significant amount.”
“So what?”
