Chapter 546 Unworthy of Our Family

Eira scratched her head in embarrassment and explained with a smile, “I want Dr. Wilson to bring up

some drinks quickly.”

Tyler and Liora understood and went upstairs.

Scott stayed with Eira as they walked to the dining room. Eira frowned at him. “Mr. Wilson, your words

are

scaring the children.”

Scott looked at Eira nonchalantly. “Which words?”

Eira replied, “The critical stage!”

Scott took his time pouring the milk. “I was just telling the truth.”

“It is the truth, but I’m worried the children won’t sleep tonight after hearing that!” Eira said.

Scott turned to Eira. “Everyone should face the truth, including children. They can’t be protected

forever.”

Eira was speechless but still felt it was inappropriate to say that to the children. It would be better for

them to know later than anxiously waiting for an update now, especially since she knew Caroline was

severely injured.

After pouring the milk, Scott smiled at Eira. “Don’t worry. I’ll keep them company.”

Eira found Scott’s behavior strange, but she couldn’t quite figure it out.

At Xander Residence.

Greta hurriedly had Thomas call Neil after learning about the incident. She felt guilty and couldn’t eat

when she heard about Caroline’s condition.

Thomas brought a bowl of soup to Greta. “You should eat something, Greta.”

Greta shook her head. “I don’t feel like eating. You eat.”

Thomas placed the soup down and sat beside Greta. ‘Regardless, Caroline is still in the hospital, no

matter how much you blame yourself.”

Yuliana entered the room as he spoke. “Mom, did you hear about Caroline’s accident?”

She closed the door behind her.

Thomas sighed. “Don’t bring this up. Your mother is already feeling bad.”

Yuliana was confused. “Why is she feeling bad?”

Thomas explained, “She feels bad for Caroline getting injured.”

Yuliana was puzzled. “How is her injury related to Mom feeling bad? Why does she care about

someone

who isn’t close to her? Caroline is still alive.”

Greta scolded her daughter. “She’s your cousi

Yuliana was displeased. “Mom, Caroline doesn’t even consider herself a part of the Xanders. Why are

you

so eager to welcome her into the family?”

“Even if she won’t join the family, she’s still your cousin!” Greta said sternly.

Yuliana was infuriated. “I refuse to accept someone like her, with her behavior, as part of this family!”

Greta said, “You’ve been acting more and more eccentric lately!”

Yuliana’s eyes reddened with tears as she retorted, “How can you call me that because of Caroline? All

in

all, she doesn’t deserve to be a part of our family because of her behavior!”

Meanwhile, Daniella overheard their conversation on her way to visit Grayson at the hospital. Her

expression turned fierce as she realized the Xanders knew about Caroline’s identity.

“It must be Neil who told them, right? It’s bad enough that he’s been opposing me, but how did he replace

out about this? Are they going to kick me out of the family? I’ll deal with them first,‘ she thought.

Daniella walked downstairs and headed to the hospital.

Twenty minutes later, she entered Grayson’s room and greeted him sweetly, “Grandpa.” Grayson

smiled and held out his hand to Daniella. “You don’t have to visit me every day, Ella.”
