Trapped in Love By Kitty Song -
Chapter 946
Chapter 946 At 9:00 a.m., Scott hurried to the hospital upon learning of Liora's disappearance.
The bodyguard's impatient voice greeted him as he reached the room's entrance.
"Do you think my employer will let you leave just because you stop eating? Dream on!" Scott halted, his expression turning to a frown.
Noticing the tension, Elvira approached from the side. "Mr.
Hendrix, should I get rid of him?" Even as Elvira spoke, Kevin Patton, the bodyguard, continued. "I'm going to force-feed you if you keep refusing to
eat!" Scott's solemn expression deepened as he opened the door to enter. A trace of agitation crossed his face when he saw Caroline seated on the bed, staring out the window in silence.
Scott's sudden appearance took Kevin aback. He lowered his head and greeted, "Sir!" Scott glanced at him coldly. "I don't remember giving you the authority to treat her like this." Although his tone remained calm, the coldness in Scott's voice was evident.
Kevin stiffened. "I'm sorry, sir. I grew impatient because she hasn't been eating much for these days. I was worried that she'd—"

Elvira nodded. "Yes, Mr. Hendrix." Kevin's eyes widened in shock and fear as he heard the conversation unfold.
Caroline frowned, watching Elvira approach Kevin. An intense uneasiness settled in her chest.
In the next moment, Elvira swiftly moved. Kevin failed to react in time, and his throat was instantly cut, blood splashing into the air.
Caroline's pupils constricted in fear as she witnessed the gruesome scene.
Overwhelmed by fear, her rationality and thoughts were overshadowed. A person who had threatened her to eat earlier lost his life because of Scott! However, Scott remained outwardly calm, seemingly oblivious to the tension in the room. He walked over to Caroline's bed and took a seat on a nearby chair. Contempt filled his gaze as he observed the blood staining the meal container.
"Elvira, get her a new meal," he instructed.
"Yes, Mr. Hendrix!" Elvira responded promptly, dragging Kevin's lifeless body out of the room while another bodyguard entered to clean the scene.
Caroline looked at Scott in fear, witnessing the cruel and absurd
incident unfold before her. She couldn't fathom the malice hidden beneath Scott's seemingly innocent exterior.
Meeting her gaze, Scott calmly asked, "Did that scare you?" Caroline swallowed nervously and asked, "What is the value of human life to you?" "Human life? Not much," Scott replied with a casual smirk.
Caroline pressed further, "What did he do wrong to deserve such an end?" "Because he spoke to you rudely," Scott explained nonchalantly.
""He was just trying to make me eat!" Caroline couldn't help but shout in rage. The overpowering stench of blood in the room pushed her to the
edge of a breakdown.
"He wouldn't have met this fate if he had reminded you properly," Scott retorted.
Caroline found the situation absurd.
"They are all precious human lives! Why do you have to be so cruel?" Scott stated, "Carol, he doesn't deserve your pity." "You had him killed just because I wouldn't eat! Does everyone who reminds me to eat deserve to die?" Caroline exclaimed in exasperation.
"He should bear the consequences of treating you rudely," Scott commented.
Caroline stared at Scott in disgust.
"And what about you? You tried to take
my life! Why don't you go die then?" @
