Elizabeth no longer tried to wrest free and let him hold her hand as they walked out of the office.

Gracie and Esme were still outside, and they subconsciously took a step backward when they saw thecouple walk out

Once again, Elizabeth felt the urge to withdraw her hand. Yet, Matthew refused to loosen his grip.

A hint of embarrassment crept across her face. After all, they were still her colleagues. She would belying if she said she didn’t feel awkward after being seen holding hands with Matthew so openly.

“Was that your family on the phone earlier? Do you want me to accompany you back home for NewYear’s and meet
