Sean watched her set up the equipment and asked her after hesitating, “How did you celebrate your birthday for the past few years?”

Molly squatted down and started massaging his legs to loosen his muscles.

“Well… I just celebrated it with the kids when I was abroad. Back when I wasin the countryside, Caden would sneakily cook two eggs and eat them with me in the backyard. We‘d only go back in when we‘re done eating because we were afraid of getting caught.”

Sean looked at her and kept quiet. No one knew what he was thinking about.

Molly prepared breakfast and realized that everyone was

already seated at the table, except for one person.
