Chapter 56

The reason Lara came was to see if Molly was really living in Terahis Grove for herself. ‘Could Mollybe lying?’ she wondered. But she could not replace any reason to do so until she happened to notice thebutler carrying out Grandpa Dave’s luggage, saying that he was going to send it over to Grandpa Dave.At the . same time, Lara saw Caden arriving at their doorstep. So, she took matters into her own handsand personally sent the luggage over. When she reached Terahis Grove’s entrance, Caden wasstanding behind her as he scanned the neighborhood inside. There was greenery everywhere, and thehouses looked exceedingly expensive. He was shocked, wondering, ‘Does Molly live here?’

Lara carried her luxury bag and stood at the entrance in her high heels as she said to the securityarrogantly, “Open up. I’m looking for a tenant called Molly May.”

“Sorry, please contact the resident and ask her to give us a call. Outsiders are prohibited from enteringwithout the resident’s acknowledgment,” the security answered. Lara furrowed her brows when sheheard his response. She immediately clapped back and said, “Outsider? What do you mean ‘outsider’?I’m Molly’s mother, a resident here! So why can’t I enter? You’re just a guard dog with no judgment. Nowonder you’re just a security guard here. “Lara did not even try to control her volume, looking like shewas all that. The security reminded her, “Excuse me! Please control your volume, miss! “This is my job,and I take my job very seriously. Every entrance in this neighborhood has strict security. If we simplyallowed anyone to enter, how could this place be regarded as an expensive neighborhood? “Everyresident here is wealthy and respectable. If we simply let people in, who’s going to be responsiblewhen something happens?” The security guard insisted, “If you wish to enter, please ask the resident togive us a call. We’ll let you in then.”

Lara gritted her teeth at the security, who was extremely persistent. “Go and check if there’s a residentnamed Molly May. I’m her mother!”

At that moment, Molly walked out of the neighborhood as she watched them with a cold gaze. Lara wasvery agitated as she did not expect her to really stay at Terahis Grove. The residents in this area had tobe of high standard and qualification, and the May family were not eligible to live there. Even ifGrandpa Dave paid a fortune, they still would not be qualified! After so many years, Molly had beenliving better than Lara had expected. Molly looked at her with a cold expression and said, “Thanks forsending grandpa’s luggage over. I’ll take it from here.”

Molly treated Lara just like a stranger. But Caden was excited as he finally met his sister! Initially, hewas still skeptical, thinking that Lara was lying to him. But that person really was

his sister!

However, Molly was different than what he had expected. She was radiating elegance and nobility. Shelooked just like a grandiose swan just by standing there. The aura she had when talking to Larashowed that she was above Lara even further.

When Caden looked closely, Molly was indeed similar to the sister he once had. This is great!’ Cadenwas genuinely happy for Molly when he saw Molly living such a good life. But Caden could not help butbe cautious when he was facing the current Molly. He was afraid to take a step forward, and he couldnot even push himself to call out to her. Caden’s eyes watered as his eyes glued onto Molly, his tearspilling up.
