Chapter 650

Chapter 650

Molly was sitting on the sofa silently under the dim lights as if she was waiting for him to come home...

Sean felt a surge of warmth in his heart.

Molly lifted her head after hearing some noises coming from the entrance, and she saw Sean walking in. Then, she flatly said, "

You're back."

Sean approached Molly while holding the bouquet of roses he bought. The red roses looked so striking that it was very attractive.

However, Molly shifted her gaze without even looking at them.

She stood up and walked right back to the room.

"Let's begin the treatment now that you're back. I need to go home early to get some rest later."

'It won't exist if I don't look at it, and I can forget about him if I don't interact with him.'

Molly thought to herself.

Sean looked at Molly's back and he immediately gave up the idea of giving her the flowers.

"Boss?" Even Tony, who was standing behind him, had no idea what was happening.

'Why do I feel like something's wrong with Dr. May today?'

"You can go home now." Sean lifted his hand and asked Tony to leave as he carried the bouquet of redroses back to his bedroom.

Tony was confused as he looked at Sean and Molly, but he kept quiet anyway.

There was no need for Tony to be the third-wheeler since Molly was there.

Molly heard Sean coming into the bedroom, but she did not lift her head up.

She sat on her usual spot while arranging the needles that she was very familiar with, she had theherbal medicine that she made on the other hand, but she was not trying to start a conversation withSean at all.

"I got these flowers for you for your discharge." Sean went to Molly and gave her the bouquet of flowersthat were beautifully wrapped.

Molly looked at the striking flowers.

Then, she wondered if Sean had done the same for others as well.

"Thanks." She took the bouquet of flowers nonchalantly before putting it on the table.

She was not as surprised and happy as the last time she received flowers.

"Let's begin the treatment," Molly spoke.

Sean noticed that something was not right with her as he saw how Molly did not really want to talk tohim. He pursed his lips and let Molly start treating him without saying anything.

It felt like when they first knew each other.

The room was completely silent, and only the sound of needles moving could be heard.

Molly was about to stand up after massaging him, but she knocked over the needle case beside her hand.

She reached out to pick it up, and Sean bent down to help her. Their fingers touched, and Molly shrugged his hand away without

thinking twice.

Sean looked at his hand which was swung away for a few seconds before lifting his head up to look at her.

"What's going on with you tonight?" He noticed that something was not right with her as soon as he stepped inside.

Things had never gotten so cold between them other than the time they just knew each other. They looked like complete

strangers to each other.

"Nothing. I'm just tired. I want to go back and get some rest now." Molly did not tell him the truth.

They were not committed to each other in any way, after all.

Perhaps they had some special feelings for each other, but it did not mean anything. Neither of them confessed their feelings,

and Sean could treat just anyone like how he treated Molly.

They were from two different worlds anyway.

That was why Molly did not blame Alice for putting her guard up around her. There were just too many women who were better

than her.

So, she wanted to stop herself from falling deeper into this love when she still had control over her own feelings, she thought that

things would be better this way, even though she might not fall in love with anyone else.
