True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz) -
Chapter 1100
"I don't know whether I should call you a fool, naive, or just kind-hearted. They're all the same to me anyway. You really are a dummy."
Heinz sighed again as he spoke. Looking at Grace, he complained again, "Although I can understand it, I still think that it's too simple for you to easily forgive this woman who tried to kill you and the babies in your belly."
"Then what do you think we should do?" Grace raised her eyebrows and looked at him. "Do I have to make her suffer a fate worse than death? Torture her?"
"If there's no law, I think it's a viable option." Heinz gritted his teeth and continued with indignation, "We shouldn't let such a woman go so easily. I'm livid just thinking about it. How dare she harm my sons and wife? She really has a death wish."
"Alright, don't be a Monday-morning quarterback. I feel very calm now. Having an inner peace is the best thing for the babies in my belly right now. This is good for their growth." Grace took the matter on its merits and said, "I don't want to continue being resentful. I think the happiest thing in life is to have a quiet conscience.
Besides, our babies will hear what you say, and they will also not like it. Be kinder, Heinz. Also, do it for the sake of our children."
"You make it sound as if I'm not." Heinz widened his eyes and looked at his wife only to replace that she was looking at him. He gave in almost instantly.
What else could he do? As long as Grace tilted her head and blinked at him silently, he felt powerless too.
"Fine, you are kind-hearted, a benevolent saint. I wish good people will forever exist in this world."
Grace looked at him again and said, "You actually still have something else to say, don't you?"
"Yes." Heinz nodded. "What I want to say is that you are a goody-goody."
Grace didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He must've been truly upset yet unable to do anything about her to have said something like this. However, she knew that he was more heavyhearted than he was upset.
He was worried about her.
Grace reached out her hand to hold his arm and leaned a little closer to him. She laid her face on his arm and whispered, "Actually, women know women better. She was understandably jealous, envious, and even resentful. But I'm also at fault for not making the first move to resolve this kind of potential crisis."
"I can't agree with you. If Quinn told you directly that she hated you and wanted to kill you, I'd respect her more." Heinz said, "But what did she do? She used the most despicable means and exploited Mr. Yarbrough's care for you to harm you. Therefore, her envy, jealousy, and hatred are unforgivable."
"But she has been with Mr. Yarbrough for so many years after all, and she is still the mother of my two younger brothers. Out of deference to Mr Yarbrough and my brothers, what Jensen said is right. A bad compromise is better than a good lawsuit. Although I'm also rather reluctant, I'm willing to let go of the bigger picture. I am still a person with principles after all.
Heinz, I can see that Madam Berkeley is really remorseful. She won't hurt me anymore, so this time I plan to forgive her and bury the hatchet." Grace gently caressed his arm. "I know that you're doing this for my wellbeing. You care for me, and you are worried about me, but I also pity Zayne.
Didn't you see that there isn't even a smile on this young boy's face? But even without a smile, he still gives people a warm feeling. I just feel that he has a calmness and sadness that doesn't match his age. That kind of sorrow makes people feel very sympathetic."
"I didn't see it," Heinz grunted unhappily. "Right now, what I'm most worried about is you and the children in your belly. I can't be bothered about the rest. Let someone else worry about other matters. You're really a goody-goody. Don't think about other people anymore. Let's think about how we can be happy now."
"As long as everybody is fine, we will all naturally be happy." Grace raised her head to look at Heinz. "Seeing that you are not happy now, I also feel unhappy immediately. If you are happy, I will definitely be very happy."
"How is it suddenly my fault again?" Heinz felt helpless. Looking at his wife, a sense of helplessness flashed across his eyes. He let out a long sigh and said, "Okay, I know. I'll be happy." As he said, he squeezed out a smile.
Grace also felt very warm. She stretched out her hand and gently held Heinz's face, looking at him tenderly.
However, Heinz was very domineering. He grabbed her hand forcefully and locked her in his arms.
He rested his head on Grace's head and stared deeply into her eyes. His stare was like a deep vortex, sucking people in easily, making them sink deeper.
He lowered his head and kissed her.
Grace had to accept it regardless of whether they were in the car or not.
Her heart was palpitating wildly.
He finally let go of her after a long time. Grace was out of breath and she rested her face on his body. His chest was like a huge harbor, warm and sheltered her from all the wind and rain.
"I really don't know what to do with you," Heinz said. Grace could hear a hint of restraint from his tone. "Rest well after we go back."
"Yes, Hubby." She said coquettishly in his embrace.
Heinz sighed as a hint of helplessness flashed across his face and a faint of worry lingered in his eyes.
They could only leave everything to fate.
He and Grace had to firmly believe that the babies were the best and the healthiest. Only when they do could they be truly healthy.
When they got home, Heinz helped Grace take a bath and change her clothes. "Lie down and take a
nap first."
"I'm hungry." Grace said, "Can I eat something before I nap?"
"Of course." Heinz said, "I'll ask the butler to bring it over."
"All right."
Soon, the butler brought some soup over and she finished it quickly. She let out a sigh of satisfaction and said, "If I keep eating like this, I don't know if I will be fat to death when our babies are due." "No, you won't," Heinz reassured.
"Who knows?" Grace looked at herself and said, "I am already plump now."
She even felt that her body was growing again.
She would probably have to get lingeries that are two sizes larger.
She lowered her head to look at herself. Heinz caught her in action and a glint flashed across his eyes, then, he stiffened.
After that, he took a napkin and wiped her mouth. He gently touched her lips with his fingers. His eyes dimmed slightly and his voice was slightly hoarse. "What should grow have grown, what shouldn't, hadn't. Not even a bit."
Grace was stumped. She looked up at him and immediately saw that he was looking where she had just looked.
And his words.
She blushed in an instant. "Where are you looking at?"
Heinz then smiled wickedly and said, "I'm looking at my territory, who can have a say?"
"This is my territory," Grace whispered in protest.
He held her in his arms, closed his eyes, and said, "I'll also sleep for a while. Behave."
Grace blinked her eyes and thought to herself, "His eyes were the ones that weren't behaving."
However, she still laid quietly in his arms and fell sound asleep.
