Heinz stood in the hallway, his gaze fixed on Grace as she walked down the stairs.

She had a translucent veil covering her face, and it made her look innocent, gentle and extremely beautiful.

Her long wedding dress draped along the stairs as she descended elegantly.

Her gorgeous face was slightly visible behind the translucent veil.

"Let's go to the sunroom. Everything is ready," the butler's voice rang across the entrance of the hall.

Everyone stood up.

Little Gary grabbed William's hand to help him up. William was slightly stunned and whispered, "Why are you holding my hand?"

Little Gary answered softly, "Because I'm afraid that you'll lose your balance and fall. It's difficult for you to attend the wedding at such an old age, not to mention that it will be hard for you to get seated and stand up later. Therefore, I want to help you but here you are despising me."

William was shocked. Even the butler standing aside was taken aback. Nobody expected that Little Gary words could be so meticulous.

William's butler quickly reached out to support him.

Little Gary ordered, "Hold on to him and don't let him fall. This old man might get too excited and lose his balance. If anything happens to him, you are to be blamed." "Alright!"

Everyone proceeded to the sunshine room.

Heinz was escorted by Jensen and Zachary, thus he arrived at the sunroom a step ahead.

Grace, on the other hand, was being led by Timothy and Zayne slowly.

Since they did not invite a large number of guests, everyone was able to fit into the sunroom.

An arch stood in front of the entrance of the sunroom. It was decorated with fresh flowers and beautiful balloons. Red carpet covered the floor and led a path towards a small podium.

It looked very similar to the wedding decorations in hotel, but unlike them, the sunroom has sunlight illuminating the surrounding, casting a warm atmosphere all around. It brought warmth to everyone who was present.

Heinz stood at one end of the red carpet.

Zachary took a microphone and stood on the podium. He was the emcee for that day and he said, "Welcome everyone, to the wedding of Heinz and Grace. I'm Zachary, cousin of the bride, and I will be your emcee for today."

"This wedding is held on a small scale for special reasons. It's because Grace is pregnant and we wish to not tire her too much. Let's propose a toast to them both."

Everyone raised their glasses and proposed the toast.

Grace stood by the entrance of the door and gazed at Heinz, who was standing across the room, at the other end of the red carpet.

He wore a formal suit. He looked very tall and upright, full of vitality.

Somehow, he looked even more handsome than usual.

Gazing at him, she felt her breathing halt slightly. She felt that time had frozen at that moment.

They continued to gaze at each other. Their gazes were full of emotions.

Heinz felt every bit grateful towards Grace. She, the love of his life, was carrying his children.

This was fate. Many years back, they had two little kids together and now, years later, they could reconcile and start a new life again. It was fate that brought both of them back together. He cherished it very much.

Right there and then, he had made up his mind. He wanted nothing but happiness for her.

He would love her with all his heart.

Zachary continued, "Because all of us are either friends, family members or relatives, thus, I don't think I need to go into too much unnecessary detail. Let's witness this beautiful and breathtaking moment together."

"The most respected person here is Mr. Carter. He is the presider of the wedding ceremony.

"Next, we would like to invite Mr. Carter over to the podium for him to preside over the wedding ceremony."

William paused for a moment, smiled and said, "Oh, I'm in charge of presiding over the wedding ceremony? It seems that Little Gary is right. I just sat down and now have to get up again and it's indeed not easy for me. Well, no matter how tired I am, I would love to preside over this wedding."

Everyone laughed heartily.

The butler and Little Gary helped William up to the podium.

Zachary handed the microphone over to him.

He took over the microphone, stood in front of the podium full of flowers, and said, "I am very happy today. This is the first time in my life being a wedding officiant. I hope this is not the last time either. I hope I can live for another twenty years to be the wedding officiant for my great-grandsons."

"You will definitely live to be a hundred years old." Zachary added on the side, "And you're definitely going to be the wedding officiant again."

"Well, I don't want to waste anyone's time. First of all, as Heinz's grandfather, I would like to sincerely thank everyone for attending his and Grace's wedding."

"Today is a wonderful day for them. I am very honored to be entrusted by everyone to be the wedding officiant."

"A marriage is a milestone in our life, symbolizing the beginning of a new stage of our lives, which also means that one would shoulder the responsibility from this moment onwards."

"I hope that both of them will understand the meaning behind marriage. They shall hold to each other for a lifetime. Be it in good times and bad times, they will love, cherish and honor each other, until the very end of their lives."

"I believe that Grace and Heinz will be able to do it. Let's give them our blessings."

Everyone applauded.

William was taken aback and suddenly began to doubt himself, "It's time for the bride and groom to exchange rings. I really have no experience when it comes to being a wedding officiant as this is my first time. I hope I didn't say anything wrong."

"You are doing great," Zachary assured him. "Now, we invite the bride's father to walk the bride down the aisle."

Unexpectedly, the moment Grace heard this sentence, her heart skipped a beat. She and Heinz had been together for such a long time but suddenly, she was feeling anxious all over again.

Fortunately, she was wearing a pair of gloves, or else everyone would see that her palms were drenched in sweat.

All of a sudden, Timothy coaxed her gently, "Don't be nervous. Just walk normally."

She was stunned for a moment and she turned her head to glance at him.

His gaze was filled with the warmth of a father and she was moved by this. Her eyes started to get watery and red.

She was about to tear up.

Her heart felt heavy and her throat, dry. Tears filled her vision.

She had always tried hard to not get too close with her father.

That was because Timothy had another family and children of his own. She had always felt as if she was an outsider and she didn't want to ruin his life. However, it was because of her that she ruined his family.

Now that Timothy was willing to attend her wedding along with her younger brother Zayne, how could she be ungrateful?

She was the kind of child who was easily satisfied. That was because she wasn't blessed with a lot when she was young, hence she was grateful for every little blessing that came her way.

She didn't want him to see her tearing up. Thus, she lowered her head and nodded.

Then, Timothy walked her down the aisle towards Heinz.

Heinz's gaze has never left her all this while. He quietly watched the woman who walked towards him and guarded her with his most affectionate eyes.

When she reached in front of Heinz, he reached out and took her hand from Timothy's.
