This time, Yvonne's entire body shrunk, feeling a bit awkward. In a low voice, she asked, "Zachary, what exactly happened to you?"

"Yvonne."

He was still only calling her name as if all the other words in this world couldn't express his feelings as much as saying her name could.

After asking several times, Yvonne still did not get an answer. So she decided not to ask anymore and just let him be.

It wasn't until he successfully turned both of her ears red that Yvonne couldn't take the tickle anymore, and turned her head to look at him. But she didn't expect that when she turned, the corner of her mouth brushed his cheek.

Then, he took advantage of the situation and pressed his lips over.

It was like watching a drama with a sweet plot, and the male lead and female lead could not help but be intimate.

The image was very beautiful.

Yvonne used to be extremely envious of those situations. She believed that was the true color of love.

But what exactly happened to Zachary?

His sudden charm and gentleness made her fearful and uneasy. She didn't know what was going on.

She could only allow him to do whatever he wanted.

Suddenly, the strong smell of coffee wafted into Yvonne's nose.

Yvonne immediately came back to her senses and said in a low voice, "The coffee is ready."

They shouldn't waste a pot of good coffee.

Yvonne immediately struggled and pushed him away.

Zachary looked at her, his breath was still heavy.

However, she wormed her way out of his arms to look at the coffee.

Zachary let out a sigh. "This woman..." He thought.

Yvonne brewed the coffee and poured it into a cup. When she turned around, Zachary inched over again.

Yvonne was shocked.

Before she could react, Zachary had already picked her up and carried her outside.

Yvonne was stunned. "What, what happened to you?"

She felt extremely flustered. She could not believe that this was Zachary. What in the world was he trying to do?

She could not figure out his actions for a moment.

Zachary carried her to a wall. It was luxuriously decorated, and there was nothing unusual about it. Then, Zachary pressed on a hidden switch on the wall and it opened like a door. Inside was a 30 square feet bedroom.

It was basically a lounge.

Just when Yvonne realized what was going on, the door closed.

The room was quiet.

There were only sounds of their breaths.

Yvonne stared blankly at Zachary as he placed her on the bed.

Yvonne was confused. With a soft voice, she said, "Zachary, we're in the company. What happened to you?"

Zachary still remained silent. He only looked at her with deep eyes; the light in his eyes astounded her.

"Zachary, what exactly happened to you?" Yvonne still could not understand his actions.

Zachary merely whispered. "I want to kiss you."

Yvonne stayed astounded for seconds, then her face flushed red.

She did not understand why Zachary became so emotional after going out in the afternoon. This was not like Zachary at all.

"Zachary." Yvonne shyly cried out in a low voice, "What in the world happened to you?"

"I want to kiss you." His words were so direct that they made her feel embarrassed.

"Zachary." Yvonne looked at him in disbelief, and her eyes were full of his gorgeous face.

Zachary looked at Yvonne too.

The sunlight poured in from the floor-to-ceiling windows and shone on Yvonne's face. There was a red blush on her fair face, and her eyes were slightly red, but they were shining with a dazzling, gem-like gleam.

Zachary felt even more joyous seeing her blush from shyness.

"Zachary." Yvonne said sheepishly in a low voice, "Let me go out first. There are many people outside who are slandering our relationship."

She did not want to affect Zachary's image in everyone's eyes.

But he didn't seem to care at all and didn't let her leave. He just lowered his head and looked at Yvonne.

His gaze was unwilling to leave her.

"I don't care what others think." Zachary said again, "It doesn't matter what they think."

Yvonne was immediately flabbergasted.

She was not sure why Zachary was acting like this.

She only felt that he had become so strange, and it was all so sudden.

She could only look at his handsome face with a trace of tiredness. And true to his words, he kissed her.

Other than that, he did nothing else.

No, he also caressed her.

Just like checking a precious doll, he was checking her.

Yvonne was stunned. She had never seen Zachary like this before. He was so gentle, yet so unfamiliar.

Her mouth was red and swollen; it looked like it was going to bleed.

Yvonne touched her swollen lips, and she felt even more embarrassed when she looked at Zachary.

She dared not look directly into Zachary's eyes, so she looked around and whispered, "Zachary, what happened to you?" Zachary did not say anything.

Yvonne said again, "I have to go out, but how can I go out like this?"

Her clothes were wrinkled, and her lips were red and frighteningly swollen. How could she go out?

Now, her relationship with Zachary could not be explained clearly anymore.

"You don't have to go out," he said bluntly, his tone domineering and possessive. "You don't have to care what others think." "But, I am your secretary." She said again, "You are the president. You don't have to worry about it, but I am just a secretary." She still wanted to have a good and proper career, rather than looking as if she had climbed the ranks in a different way.

There was a glimmer of light in Zachary's eyes. He looked at her tenderly and said, "Soon, they will know not to gossip about you." "Forget it." Yvonne shook her head. As he was still a bit shy, she embarrassedly looked at Zachary and found that he was still staring at her. Being stared at by him made her even shyer.

Yvonne covered her eyes with her hands, but she didn't know that her actions were like that of a child's.

She was deceiving herself.

Did she think that she was invisible just because she covered her eyes?

"Haha." Zachary laughed. His laughter was pleasant, relaxed, and there was no sarcasm in it. It was like the bright and happy Zachary was back.

The sunshine-like smile of a young man.

Yvonne stole a glance at him through the gaps between her fingers.

It was a genuine smile.

The corners of his lips were slightly curved, and his bright eyes were looking at her. The tenderness in his eyes was touching, and his bloodshot eyes belonged to her only.

His smile was so bright and beautiful; it was gorgeous.

Yvonne stared blankly as Zachary took her hands away.

She looked at Zachary's smiling face in surprise.

He looked down at her and said, "You should cover my eyes, not yours."

As he said that, he laughed again.

Yvonne was stunned and her mind was blank. Under his gentle smile, as well as his reminder, she covered his eyes with her hands.

He did not move.

Instead, Yvonne was startled.

It was the first time in a long while she looked at him properly.

His face was already mature.

It had been eight years.

There was a huge gap of time between them.

It had been such a long time since they separated.

As she looked at him, her eyes suddenly moistened.
